Has to be reasonably sober for the study.....but also needs to have colour, be light and quite summery
    POSH ALERT!!!
Price of 1m is my budget for a fridge freezer!!

    I couldn't find dahlia

Dahlia is a good way down and I know price of that is £80 pm. Havenot seen price of first one per m. Edit...a picture of folded or messy dahlia is the first pic of the fabric. IMO looks more like sweet peas, because the colour rather than the sketches are more prominant.

These blinds aten't big, and we saved money on deorating ourselves and I am looking for good size shape cheap shed metal only chandeliers to turn into twig chandeliers here. So the bulk of th e deorating cost will be the blinds.

( apart from book shelves....not thinking about that just now)

I agree - I prefer the first one, but I think that Dahlia would look better as roman blinds. I REALLY like the first one though.

I need to stop mentally buying things for my imaginary house!

Our problem with choosing stuff is that having decided we really want different shades of green in the walls throughout downstairs we are both drawn to multicoloured fabric with birds on ...for every room.:D. Not much point in having different rooms if they are all decorated the same way:rotfl:

We have picked a stripe wool for the sitting room, which we cannot afford yet, and we are looking for the kitchen still( having given up on the samples I got a few months ago.)

I know really fancy a crewel with monkeys on it for the kitchen but that is a lot of window spa e and a very expensive choise of fabric!...so looking for alternatives,

Had to google crewel... still need to google further to find out what that is/means... but I did end up here:

    £99 !!!! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Crewel-Fabric-Monkey-Multicolor-Cotton/dp/B005QZXLIM

Edit: COOOR... further googling of monkeys etc found this $250 (I bet the Queen wouldn't spend that much) ... and it's not EVEN embroidered!!! http://www.brickhousefabrics.com/product/Schumacher--fabric-crewel-monkey-3-24.html - they should call that range SAWYACUMIN, although that price is for a piece 9'x2', not per sq m.

We threw out lights that masquaraded as metal chandeliers, the last one only went last week; if I had known I would have kept it for you.

I can imagine that chez lir. From the distance it looks like a normal antique style fabric, close up its bonkers.
