We had tomorrows supper ( garlic and onion soup) because tonight's beef didn't defrost. Someone has turned the temperature of my fridge down. Easy enough to swap, but cold beef was lunches for this week. Grrrrrr.0 -
Re posh shops. Can you use at Fortnums? Much more interesting a shopping proposition imo. Their marc de champagne truffles are the best in the worldPlease stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I love looking at fortnums, and dh gets lunches cheaply and cheese there too, but.......I have hot less impressed with the bits that make it home in recent years. It's beautiful, I would never denounce it and indeed I miss it, but.....I just don't feel like I did.
But then I haven't had the. Marc de champagne truffles from there so I believe you on that.
I am off chocolate totally ATM, though muc to my own Horowitz I am craving milky way ( yuck) and caramac......things I would not buy, so I am living with the craving.0 -

They are my absolute faves. Was disappointed by the truffs in Harrods. Selfridges are good, but not as good as. Even the main Belgian brands like Neuhaus I don't like as much. Hotel Chocolat is my favourite high street chocolate shop. Their easter eggs are particularly good.
One of the downsides of spending time in America is that their chocolate is dreadful. I always take my own with me. Though last time I noticed a Lindt store, which made me a little bit happy. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I love that it is much to your Horowitz
I am not a big chocolate eater (give me crisps or cheese any day), but today is my chocolate-eating day of the month.
I was going to go to the gym tonight, but I couldn't be bothered/ have some work to do. To make up for it I added a handful of chips to my dinner and am tucking into my monthly quota of chocolate. :rotfl:0 -

Although at half price, it may be worth it.

I am quite patient, and can hold onto gift cards until sale timeI will have to have a nosey round to see whether there is anything I would even want though (sounds like food or drink are the most likely candidates there!)

To add the tone mad lady tone I am wearing sheepskin lined ankle boots with tassles on them.
Dh just said it looks like something from fashion editorial....but he loves me and wears a sheep suit and a doge outfit as leisure wear.
I have suggested he does NOT wear the shellsuit first day back to old office...he thought it woul
D get his colleagues laughing if he dressed as a lamb to the slaughter...
We need pictures of your outfit and FiR dressed as a sheep or a doge.0
