Did you saw what car you went for in the end missk? Really pleased for you. I think it was michaels who said you should notice the difference, it sounds like you are relishing it.

I do that quite regularly, especially as I'm going shopping this afternoon, having not been for 10 days.

Having a race to Malmo tonight with 2 of the office girls (office to Malmo, first there wins), and to make this as Top Gear as possible, for the new series, I'm doing it in the Mercedes SLS :)

Its a bit of fun that we could do with

Watch out for any speed cameras as they give penalty points and that could be a very costly trip to Malmo, fun dodging them if you know where they are enjoy:)

I have just finished my tax return. I started it in December. Why is it that they change it every year, so you get to a bit where you think you've finished and then they throw you a curved ball? I had to declare an income of £1 from a source that doesn't pay me and then tell them I don't get any income from it in the notes because it doesn't accept 0 in the box and that I don't earn anything... GRRRRRR
    I know.... it's a faff isn't it.

I'm about to watch Oldham get whooped by Liverpool :(

Still, my tenner on Oldham will net me £120 if they win! Stranger things have happened!

Just looked it up - they are £5/statement. I am missing seven. There is a 1% chance they are in storage, all my completed/past years copies are in a box in storage... but that'd mean doing a 20 mile round trip, to be in a vulnerable place (alone/industrial unit), to get the box, hoping that [a] I have the key to hand it's in there.... and maybe they are simply in a random box in there. So long shot.

But the auto penalty is £100. How does that offset against the penalty? Can you get someone from work to come with you? It sounds like you have done a few favours for them. How quickly can you get the copies through?

I am beginning to see how you clocked up 30k miles on your car so quickly. BTW, does your car have water wings?

My S-Max had 106k on it, and that was a September to September car, and this one will have planned mileage of 94k, so probably about 106k again, once personal usage is taken in. I think my last tax return showed 956xx miles (can't remember the last two digits), and that was over a year

Last time I did one of these races, to Geneva, in my S-Max. I got stopped by the police in France, time was tight, and not only did it cost me €380, it also cost me 25 minutes!

I was doing 141km/h in a 130 zone, so not overly fast.

I'm relying on the Autobahn tonight, as I'll have to car to about 140mph there, so I can relax when I get to Sweden. I'm about 25% Germany, so that'll give me the edge (they're flying to Stockholm, then getting a train down).

No can do. Just phoned the bank, they take 7 working days to arrive. Can't get anybody from work as there's only one person I am in contact with and they've got a weekend of family parties/commitments/tea etc + animals.... and it's a 1.5 hour round trip from when I start.... and it has to be done during daylight.

    But I found 6 .....

Pastures, who do you bank with?

HSBC have been very reasonable with me, as I lost some and needed a VAT return doing. I asked for 3 months personal and 3 months business, totalling 162 pages, and they were happy to do it there and then.

I asked Lloyds for 31 pages for a tax return, and they did a 'no can do', although did give me the option of registering for Internet Banking for free, taking 3-5 working days.
