Let's hope. It sounds like the perfect opportunity for the police to arrest her!

Oh, and for anyone that may be interested this:

    http://www.esquire.com/features/megan-fox-photos-interview-0213

is being described in Australia as the worst ever celebrity interview and to be fair, they have a point. (Warning: contains pictures of Megan Fox in her pants).

It really is hard to describe how toe-curlingly bad it is without you reading it. I keep trying to find snippets to quote but they don't work out of context.

Sympathies. Does she over analyse everything you say? I am suffering the second child doing a psychology degree and it is tiring.

James tried an A level in it but found himself constantly disagreeing with the text books and the teacher. He particularly took offence at the stance the teacher took when it came to autism and it being down to parenting and/or it being a mental illness ...things went rapidly down hill from there.

Unfortunately, autism and normal psychology does not compute, if it did, then I would be some kind of axe wielding, abusive, unloving mother according to the books and although James may have the normal sibling disagreements with his brothers, he will protect them until the end of the world.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

When I was at uni in the 70s, some of the older textbooks regarded "infantile autism" as an early branch of schizophrenia. Now they're tretred as totally separate.

I was a late dad. DS's Asperger's contion gave me much to reflect on :(

By the way, darling daughter's Nissan Micra has been written off in really quite an inventive way! She took it into a garage for servicing, and, whilst they were extracting the oil, the machine they were using exploded and sprayed about 50 L of oil over the car. To make matters worse, the windows were open.

It is remarkably difficult to remove all traces of oil. For example, the surface of the seats looks clean enough, but the oil has settled into the foam padding. Oil has penetrated the seals between the window and the door, so the window gets smeared with oil every time it goes up and down.

Anyway, it is not our problem. She is getting some cash, and the garage's insurers are getting the car, which will no doubt appear on the market as a category D write-off.

I'd love to be the one filling out the insurance forms on that!

'How did you nearly die?' Errm...it's going to take far more than that little box they give you

I can just imagine him not being willing to take statements like that without a fight! Good for him. It's not just his brothers that he would protect until the end of the world - it's you as well, Sue. I thought all that "autism caused by parenting" nonsense went out in about 1960, anyway.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

He is not so bad, and the critical stuff is reserved for me.
    .

Actually, that sounds worse than first described, those two statements. It sounds really hurtful, lacking awareness, unapppreciative and not very loving tbh.

If it was her, she would know by now because people would not be getting the cheques she had written. If it wasn't her and was her friend instead, she might.

One question though, if you saw her walking around town, and were able to go up to her, would you confront her? Or tell the police?

I would dearly like to know what happens in situations like this. It is good that the bank has sorted it out for you, but I would like to see the due process of law, rather than bank administration, take place.

I know plenty of people who were young parents with Aspie/Autistic kids, please don't beat yourself up.

What's the name of the Baron-Cohen who doesn't prance around in a mankini but is a professor? I think he suggests that there could be a link between Aspergers and families with very logical brains such as engineers. Who knows, I'm guessing that there is much to be discovered in this area as yet.

With my daughter, Sarah Beth gives me the look because sometime I wind her up, unintentionally I can assure you, and then I get it.

I think that maybe being brought up by older or more mature parents that may have a bearing, not sure.
