OH has rebooked flights for tomorrow; hmm, here we go again.

I have just loaded the BT smart talk app to my mobile phone. When abroad within wifi you make calls through the app and pay your home phone rate, free in my case.

I wonder if this paves the way for a data only mobile tariff, with every call made through the app?

Just installed it and it looks handy, thanks!

Mobile tariffs (free minutes) are very cheap now and BT has free evenings and weekend as standard.

Maybe someone will make an app to automatically use the best calling method

We just had some snow, not as much as the other day. Think its stopped now.

We have now got rain to wash away the snow so underfoot is much more firmer than before.

This afternoon my wife and I went on our usual wakie with our dog and remarked at the strange smell in our area, it was similar to the smell of diesel oil. But what a whiff then I looked on the internet news and people are now complaining about the smell all over the south west and apparentley it is coming from a plant 75 miles north of Paris and it has taken on the name of 'la pong' which I thought was really funny, here is the link for your good selves to read. Keep the windows closed if you are in the south of England:)

It is ... some posters here live in a parallel universe where everything's just how it should be if the world were perfect.... meanwhile, back in our Universe, the likes of you and I would just lose out, get a b0ll0cking, lose our jobs, lose brownie points... and more.

We are forecast a lot of snow tonight. Either the temperature will be above zero and we will be fine or it will be below zero and we will be stuck again. Currently 0.5 degrees.

Our road has been gritted today!

OH rebooked monday's flight for tomorrow and it's has just been cancelled. \trying not to grin\
