I like abstracts, every time the light changes or your mood or you look again, they change and you change with them.

Seaside stuff and haystacks a la turner, I do appreciate but I can't love. I do quite like Monet though

I used to have one of those market pictures, I think it went out when I moved 15 years ago.

    £3. That's about the price :)

    A few things we have:

A William L Wyllie -etching of Portchester Castle and boats which I like but cannot remember where it came from.

A Jean Gilder - water colour called 'sportsday' - I thnk we paid £350 about 20 odd years ago - it will not be worth much more now but its cute and makes me smile.

A still life of a bowl of pansies I inherited from my mum - we had it reframed for her - and were given a sales value of £3-4K then.... I think she thought I liked it. It remains unhung facing a wall in our spare room.

Framed - My daughters first painting - a few bold blue strokes by her two year old hand, then they took the brush off her as she started to suck it. Priceless.

Yeah - can't be having with pics of self or family although DW puts up kids school pics.

Haven't had anything for 3 years and of course had 2 day week last year. Also no 'in band' experience increments like big organisations have so no rise = no rise.

One of OH's nephews & his wife are becoming a bit of a joke because of the overkill on Photo's of them and the Children. For every birthday or christmas since first child was born my SiL has had a framed photo of them, she has a gallery full, and they are not her only grandchildren . Their Christmas cards are photos of them and/or their children - with printed salutations. Thank you cards are pictures of the children.

All the matching shirts in light blue a la le Prince & Princess of Wales is all a bit much.

We were thinking of giving them mugs for Christmas with a picture of our dog on, but the need for family harmony beat my desire to drop a too heavy hint.

I have a couple of originals by this bloke http://www.foundrygallery.co.uk/#/david-dyer/4530098335
Bought for £10 each while on holiday 15+ years ago. He died in 2006.
I like landscapes and some portraits.
DW had her portrait painted by a nice neighbour. It's a keeper!:D

I have a couple of teensy tiny originals but on the whole there is no way I could afford the kind of art that I want to sit and look at and look at....

I like big bold pieces that suck you in. It's strange because on the whole my taste in decor is very vanilla

Haha, art. We have atm a sunset picture of somewhere I used to live painted as a gift to my parents. It's on loan. Like we are a gallery. :). The orange I linked here some time ago and a couple of other fruits that have joined them. a pic of what used to be family land elsewhere...it's fairly poor tbh, but sentimental. A trio gifted to my dad by a nation for some work he did for them....not worth much but to him they are. A horrid pic of what is meant to be cherry trees...gift to dh's parents. A lovely pic a friend gave us in the bedroom. Oh, a canvas from b and q. I like the colours. A pic of a Hot air balloon. Three terrible done pics by me. The pic of dog dog dh and I did by making her lie down on the canvas and tracing her. :)

Oh, we are also painting a bat on to our kitchen wall in the future. And I want a mural in the downstairs loo. Dh is worried having a fawn in there might put him off a little. At, he has a ghastly print of an etching of death behind the loo. I don.t car as I don't ever have to stand looking at it. That would put me off.

I notice Chrome had a big update earlier this afternoon.

My theme changed and was set to open a Google search page along with my home page on start.

These things often get addressed within a couple of days of updates.

Does Sandboxie eliminate the need to use CCleaner to keep your browser fast?

No, because CCleaner cleans more things than your browsing history - windows log files and the like. Also, I do banking without sandboxie and everything else with it, as an extra layer of separation, so emptying the sandbox won't clean that bit. Emptying the sandbox immediately before running CCleaner makes CCleaner a lot lot faster, though.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
