Am I right in thinking that there are other NP who use sandboxie? I usually use chrome with sandboxie for most things, and IE without sandboxie for banking, to keep things separate. But now chrome with sandboxie is not working at all - it acts as though it has loaded the page, but in fact the screen is blank apart from toolbars etc. Any advice, please?
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
    :)

    I hate them.
Mine's nicer... but if you don't like those, then seeing mine wouldn't make that much difference as they're in the same vein: seaside, oils.

I have a couple of originals by this bloke http://www.foundrygallery.co.uk/#/david-dyer/4530098335
Bought for £10 each while on holiday 15+ years ago. He died in 2006.

    Good decision

I like abstracts. I am consistently getting the sizes wrong

100 square too big, it is now in the hall

80 x 100 totally wrong shape, now in bedroom

60 x60 , loved this one abstract city landscape. Too small, now on other wall

80 x80 good size, greek mythology thingy. Hated it, now in spare room

    Wow I am actually on5

Loved this one, now on other wall

Pastures - life seems to have turned a corner for you - Patio windows, furniture,t'internet, new friends and sunshine. :j:T

Long may it continue. Really pleased for you

And it turns out an art collection.

I have to say I could live with PNs pics but could only look on WSs once in a while - may be something for the spare room?
    I think....

Talking to a colleague late last week, it seems nobody where I work's had any form of a rise for over 5 years now. Not looking good for the flimsy promises written into my offer letter, which mentioned trial/review/rise. Most hot air spouted at interviews disappears.... priority 1: rebuild empire.

i had 2 freezes in a row, but we got about 3% last year. i think we'll be frozen again this year and my bonus will be half what it was last year. great...

When I applied for the job, before interview they asked "how much do you want", so I gave a laughable/low range (half my 'worth') and they took me on at the lowest part of that range :(

On the other hand, it's proved I am employable for somebody :) and it's paying my rent.

i think i prefer mountains to beaches. actually i don't really mind anything, and could probably manage with abstracts (although pref not as loud as the one wageslave posted!). what i can't cope with is what some of our friends have up - which is massive black and white pictures of their children which are blown up to about twice life size. they freak me out.

I notice Chrome had a big update earlier this afternoon.

My theme changed and was set to open a Google search page along with my home page on start.

These things often get addressed within a couple of days of updates.

Does Sandboxie eliminate the need to use CCleaner to keep your browser fast?

Yeah - can't be having with pics of self or family although DW puts up kids school pics.

Haven't had anything for 3 years and of course had 2 day week last year. Also no 'in band' experience increments like big organisations have so no rise = no rise.
    I think....
