    POSH ALERT!!

No idea what it is though ....

    Just googled it ... £500 or so!!! !!!!!!? That's like ... a fortune.

When I was about 14-16 my pocket money was enough to buy one cheap pair of tights from the market..... or the bus fare to get to town ... or a box of maltesers. I remember the box of maltesers as one easter that's what I got.

It won't just be pocket money though, he will also have the money from selling his current double pedal and doing odd jobs for my parents, which will bring the money needed down.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I can't imagine being coordinated enough to use one of those. :)

Me neither! The first time I took it into school for him, the staff thought it was an historical instrument of torture it looks so eek.

PN, or anyone else who needs, I have an old used blackberry 8520 smartphone. Possibly locked to orange, possibly not (as in I think we got it through CPW in which case it won't be locked, but may not have done.) worked fine but has been used for 2 years and some of the keys really need pressing hard to work.

Downside of this model is no flash on camera and no built in GPS.

Happy to post it to anyone who can make use of it.

    Here you go:

£13.75 plus 1.99 postage. I've used them before and they were reliable and speedy delivery.

I would pay the extra 83p to have a new power cord at the same time as sometimes it can be the power cord that triggers a fault.
Laptop's just gone to laptop heaver. Systray says battery is not charging; running "battery health" says it's empty/not charging and I need a new one. So, I set out to find your post again... and now I realise that's for the charger/lead. Isn't the charger/lead different to the battery? It's a battery I need.

Very generous.... my requirements are more for having a camera than using it as a phone... so I'll decline.

    THX.

Yes, battery is different to the charger. BUT we have had Dells where the battery won't charge and the problem has been the charger not the battery. Can you run it with the charger plugged in?

I suppose it could just possibly be a charger problem causing low battery? Batteries are so expensive that this may qualify for a posh alert!

Edit: posted same time as Silver. Like she said ....
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
