Probably for the best. I know there was a lot of controversy about it. I was going to go and see it at the cinema but a load of old mine workers wives were outside singing songs of solidarity and I would've felt bad
So I didn't go in the end and never got round to it.

Hello everyone, hope you are all well and had a lovely christmas.
...
So that's the update on me, now to read back a few pages...;-)
Probably not worth it but if you do you will see my post wondering what had happened to you and hoping we hadn't scared you off...so WELCOME back
My evening has been less than ideal as whilst putting the xmas decorations back in the loft I decided to install the gigabit switch I bought and bring the wifi repeater downstairs to give more even coverage over the house (now DW has her tablet and skype needs to work everywhere). Of course it didn't just 'work' and took a couple of hours to track down the fault to one of the connections in a wall plate socket.I think....0 -
On behalf of Georgia, gilocavt shobas! It's January 7th, I don't quite know how to describe it, but it's a little like a 2nd Christmas. Needless to say we're not working full hours today!
I'll be full-time NP again on Tuesday!

The 7th is Christmas Day in Eastern Orthodox Christianity (this year), so I guess that's why they're (you're?) celebrating today.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0

A warm welcome back to missing NPs!
Middymum that's great news! I had a feeling the applications would tie you up for a while.
IKWYM about the expense of living in London, BTW. DD's just gone back to her uni in central London and she's always short of money even though we do what we can for her.

We (as a family) celebrated on the 25th, as I'm unfortunately working today, but in essence, very much so!
I will be finishing at about 2.30, so I can do the school run at 3pm, and therefore be celebrating at about 3.20pm, London traffic permitting. We're working our way down to W3 tomorrow night to celebrate with the Soviet community.

Yes your right, and chewy.
I have seen instances of teachers who have poor spelling recently and it doesn't seem right.
Wasn't supposed to sound wrong and it wasn't meant in a wrong way.
Still in mid Atlantic (Doozer term) and the post dropping through the door woke me up at 10.10
9 hours sleep is weird. I usually have around 7.
What is the normal sleeping time for the rest of the NP?
Around 2am - 7am but it is rarely uninterrupted. I have had several nights over the last month or so of not getting to sleep until 4am as youngest is seriously unsettled and struggling to cope.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
