    I scored 10

    7.

    Does this make us wallflowers?

I'm doubting myself today, that probably reflects in my score :o

Ok, I have said it beore warns I will say it again, I HATE making chces or mulitple choices. E.g, I obviously score nothing for self sufficiency, because I have had to accept that I cannot function alone while broken. Bet ten years ago I would have been off the scale. I cannot be not narcissistic now but have been ten years ago.

Narcissism really interests me. It's my belief that one of my parents is narcissistic.. I don't really like making hammy self deicded diagnoses about other people, but....

Anyway, what I find worrying about narcissism entering the common language now is that people excuse their behaviour on their narcissistic parent impact on them. Not on. The long thread about it on MSE health forum has people who are kids of narcissists (diagnosed by their kids in any case) who say the kids of narcissists are all really nice people and that that's how they survive and that sort of thing. IMO that's balderdash and Bunkum.

I got 7 and that was by choosing the more assertive answer where it was a 50/50, funnily enough I don't think I have a low opinion of myself but I scored low because I don't validate myself with respect to what others acheive (a super-narcissist?)

I agree with LIR about not liking multiple choice especially where the options are not 'either/or' so for some questions I could have answer yes to both options and for others no to both.
    I think....

I have never met a NP and would in RL if I thought I could be of use to a NP in need.

When the internet was relatively new about 12 years ago, my DD was a member of a horsey site and they had a chat room.

From this chat room an online friend directed her to another pony chat room - you can see where this is going - she chatted and 'discovered' that this friend was competing in a neaby horse show she had said she was visiting - what a coincidence!

WE knew none of this. We dropped her and her RL friend at the show and went home. On going to pick her up we learnt that this was an adult male who had appeared. We asked how was he dressed - jeans and a t shirt- not horsey or competitor clothes . Fortunately her more streetwise RL friend had kept them safe and she had not been 'lured away' to see a horse/pony.

We did not report it, she was very shaken. I subsequently learnt that if 'they' make contact 'they' are highly likely to attempt an assault.

Chilling. My DKs are just starting to get big enough that I need to serriously look in to safe browsing and activity logging.

    Anyone any suggestions?
    I think....

    14.

Welcome to the thread bugslet :)

I managed to get a parking ticket today in town grrr

Tried to call to pay it and get it out the way....

No number on the ticket, so I called the council who put me through... when they finally answered it was the wrong department! Back to switch.... put me through to the Police. Wrong department! She gave me the correct number so I called and she said I'd need to wait until next week to pay grrrrrrr

All that took over 11 minutes, but at least I have the correct number now :)

Saved a £5er off my food shopping in M&S and got some equipment I required for a job at £100 cheaper than I was going to pay from my usual supplier.

Kinda up and down day really :money:

Urge, I fell again. Not in muck, but while helping the plumber who was roddding our pipes. The mere association is enough to be disagreeable. He offered to help me up, but I declined. I have sprained my left hand and it's bruising, and my feet are swelling in protest at the jolt, and my left hip is feeling tender. On the plus pretty sure my back, which was several types of hell yesterday, feels better for the bump. :).
