Where has everyone been?
To those waiting for my monthly 'what do I do about my prescription' rhetorical lament......it's just been delivered. A week early.....I now am waiting to see if it comes early next month too....do I get to build up a stash or something?
Also, answerphone message from doctor..telling me he doesn't need to see me if I am not ready but he has been wondering if I might have developed celiac disease and that we should consider investigating that too. Horror of all horrors, that probably means...no more bread or pasta or proper cake.. Bread.......proper continental bread.

Got a letter in the post today saying we had failed to pay a parking ticket - well as far as we know we never had one issued and according to our records we were not in the town at the time. Time to ask for the photographic evidence methinks.I think....0

I cannot chatter while I actually do the physical work outside......I am careless with my I pad but horses would be too rough with the touchscreen.:D
Have to say, I am really ready for bed tonight, only another three hours before I can toddle off..

I switched to a new mobile contract (2.30 month 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 100mb data) and somehow have run out of data in just 10 days even though my history on my old account said I used less than 200mb per month...upshot is no posting at work.
Of and also it is very busy at work.I think....0 -

Sent a polite letter confidently explaining my car was in a CC-protected car park behind a security gate (all true)and got an apology straight away. In the end they didn't need my evidence which saved me the bother for chasing it up.
Had other false fines too. Reply robustly I say!:beer:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
countdown to my big switch on... in anticipation of which I've booked a day's annual leave in case the Eng DOES need to come inside... and therefore to prevent arriving home to a card saying "... not in .... call us to rearrange... back in 3 weeks,...."
On the plus side, having done that, the Gas Eng called for the annual check and can make it the same day. I'd have been WELL annoyed if I'd had to waste another AL day for that.

Snap. Even appealed on the grounds that no PCN was received and lost. All very well having photographic evidence that the traffic cop had put the ticket on the car, but what happens if a passer-by removes it before you get back to the car. You lose and lose the opportunity to pay a reduced rate.
