If she liked a jaegerbomb then the next step is a hand grenade (like a jaegerbomb but with another shot glass in it which you fill with tequila). Then once she's bored of that move into clusterbombs (as hand grenade but add a third shot glass with sambuca).

Oooohhh, you've got James' full attention posting that!

He is now trying to work out how you fit two or even 3 shot glasses into one!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

What does the kindle app actually do? Is the book actually downloaded or is it read over wifi?
Looks like it "takes over" your phone.I dunno maybe all apps do!

It lets you read kindle e books. the book is downloaded on your phone.

And not all apps take over your phone! :)

Toying with idea of tablet now. But as car insurance is due in 3 weeks, tablet is on back burner :(

    Just like misskool says...

They download to your device. I think the app will enable you to read the file system that kindle books are converted to and also keeps all your Kindle books in one place.

I don't see anything out of the ordinary with the app or nothing that has taken over anything....

They do to an extent, however I'd be extremely worried effectively installing software that was meant for another brand onto my phone, or am I being too picky?

    CK

    Just a bit picky ;)

The Kindle app is in the app market for your device.

The app has been written by Amazon for Android, IOS, Blackberry and Windows Mobile so that they can sell books to people with these devices.

There is nothing "dodgy" about this in any way :)

Edit: Double posted with GDB2222 to say pretty much the exact same thing.

They taste to me a lot like the floor of a forest smells. You know when you sit down in woodland on a warm late-summer's day and you play your fingers in the leaf mulch that is starting to break down into soil and you get that quite subtle but very distinct earthy smell? Truffles taste of that smell. Yum!!!

you make them sound delicious. Something I would like but.... They don't taste like that to me, because they don't smell like that to me and the smell obviously impacts on the taste. In fact, the smell is so repugnant honestly I stuggle to taste much of what I am eating thats different when some one near me is eating it.

Most things I persevere with (I happily munched on my fennel salad reminiscing that only this year gone I still considered myself someone who didn't like fennel. But truffles aren't something I care to persevere with because they are dear.

My next personal challange is that very bitter grilled chicory I usually smile tightly over in Italy. I will train myself to appreciate it.

I had truffle shavings a couple of times...once in a soup, once on meat...I think.

Didn't do much for me, but as truffles are mushrooms, I have to say I just LOVE truffles! :)

Christmas tree coming down to day:(. I hate that.

I'd quite like trees in the house year round.

We do have a mimosa in the house, a gift for dh this christmas, so that's going out gradually.

I downloaded ski safari, then in a personal show of strength I deleted it. Then in a personal show of weakness I downloaded candy crush :(

OH hasn't forgiven me for introducing him to bejeweled.

Diamond Blast is pretty good when you play it in action mode.

It's quite like Bejeweled but you play against the clock and can get bonus time and points for various things.

It plays better than you think it would. I know he would like it after a couple of go's :D

The endless mode is a bit boring as you just keep going and going.

I have no idea what Bejewelled is, it sounds something like vajazzle, which is a bit worrying.

I know that I have an easy tendency to get addicted to stuff, so I tend not to introduce myself to such games. Having said that, I did go through an Angry Birds phase after being introduced to them on here. I try not to now though, as before I know it the work hasn't got done and a week's been wasted.

The NPT and the wider MSE is my only mistress to procrastination.
