Moon - remembered to turn over, but no idea what's going on as the signal's been too choppy, then the signal strength dropped to under 50% and the telly retuned itself for 3-4 minutes... now it's kind of working, but I've no idea what's going on
Oh ... no, it's breaking up again.0 -

My old work used to teach sugarcraft baking and they used to send people to tour the country displaying their work.
Noticed that it was the top of the list of desired trade skills needed for Australia (ie shortage areas they wanted to encourage) Years ago but wonder if its still relevant. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

there is a bit of grey in it, but it's nothing like as grey as my hair. i did get some icing stuck in it yesterday, but i was drunk. gf seems indifferent. i think she probably wants it to go but doesn't want to say as if she does it will incentivise me to keep it.0 -
Sorry PN but an 10 quid scart lead is a posh alert - they are a quid on ebay, probably could have got a freeview hd box with a scart lead thrown in for 20 quid on ebay/tesco outlet.
No ebay - needs internet. Didn't have Internet then.... In fact, to even use ebay I'd also need to change my address on that and on Paypal - more logging on pain. So not straight forward. Also, P&P, plus waiting, could have been a few days. Then - silly small postbox - funny lead probably wouldn't fit in there, so I'd have arrived home 2 days later to find a card telling me to collect it from a Post Office/depot that I've no idea where it is, that's probably open office hours, so the only time I could collect would be the following Saturday ...
So, posh alert or not, it was the only solution really.
I've begrudged every darned penny of that £10 since the moment I saw the price tag.... I can't get over my feelings of loss and it pains me to have spent/wasted so much... but, at the time, standing there, alone in a shop in a town where I have nothing and know nobody ..... it seemed like my only access to entertainmentAlmonds?
I got a reduced '3 nut roast Sains finest' down from 6 quid to 1.64. It is the first food i have bought from Sains that had 'red' in every segment of their traffic light nutrition circle.
Working tomorrow so bed time0 -
I don't like marzipan, but I do like Amaretto. Perhaps almonds should go on my nut list?0

Can it be sold to a hair loss clinic for transplant purposes?;)
It could end up on the head of a balding film star or footballer:beer:
