I liked jupiler a lot, a good session lager, but find leffe to be the devil's work. similarly duvel. the others sound a bit dodgy, and although i have never tried them, i will declare them to be horrid on that basis.
the most disconcerting thing i saw in belgium was people ordering a cocktail consisting of jupiler and coke (a cola, not the white powder...). they might have been german tourists though. possibly.0 -

Garage is still nicely stocked with blonde Leffe, Orval, blue and red Chimay, Duvel, Palm, Grimbergen, Westmalle and plain Jupiler lager
I just like to try something foreign from time to time. Asahi (japanese) is another nice one.
my favourite thing in the world is asahi black. everyone must try it. it is an acquired taste though i think, a black lager with the consistency of stout.0 -

Yes, half lager, half coke. They call it 'mazout' (oil)

But that did mean throwing out about £10 worth of food, so I did wonder if it would be more economical to keep it on.
But then I heard a horror story of someone ordering in £100 of food before they arrived from abroad. Then there was a powercut that lasted a weekend before anyone noticed and they arrived and expected to open their fridge door to a fully stocked fridge and all their entertaining food in the freezer. Instead the door to the stench of off meat and the sight of blood dripping off the shelves.
As the ground floor of our place is going to be a hotel and its got the builders working a frenzy in there, the electrics seems to go off at regular intervals, so I thought that better to be safe.
But it seemed a shame to throw out things that we could use next time - like butter and bits and bobs from the freezer.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. this is our fridge below, it is a similar concept in that it takes up loads of space (thankfully not as much as the behemoth you posted) but when you open it you can fit about six carrots and a findus crispy pancake in it. i am sure it is very energy efficient though due to the fact that (a) most of it is insulation and (b) if you put six carrots in it, it is full, and fridges use less power when they are full.

I like bizarre/pointless.
I stole a few ideas from an upmarket kitchen design centre when we redid our kitchen dining room.
Floating cupboards on the wall, with quartz worktop on top. Completely pointless. I had to put hidden led strip lights on the underside of these cupboards, again looking back I'm not sure what the point is.
Oh...and no handles, just to make it really awkward like
I suspect a lot of features in these show kitchens don't really work in real life.0
