Oh no! Sorry to hear that Doozer. Have a hot drink (lemsip? something with alcohol added? or honey?) and a dodgy hug to make you feel better.

Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I never quite know how to tell town dwelling female friends about the tampax issue.....

On your invite, "Given that we all frolic naked in the Lake, it may be wise if you time your visit appropriately.";)

I'm in bed with bronchitis. Not the best fun I've ever had. I'm so exhausted and frustrated. Perhaps this year I will not be ill on Christmas Day. I was supposed to be doing refreshments at both performances of DDs xmas play today. Not only can I not splutter germa over people's mulled wine, i can't even go to it. I may try to sneak in tonight's performance, I'd feel so guilty.

Twozer dog has hurt his leg. He's walking on it and doesn't seem too unhappy but he does need to go to the vet.

And I missed xmas shopping yesterday. I'm going to have to try some of the online variety and hope it gets here. I've seen something for H but it's a bit of a weird one. Not sure it will make it in time - can't find a waterstones that stocks it either. Fingers crossed...

Poor you. Bronchitis is awful. Anything that stops you getting ' the right amount of air in' is by very design depleting.

Shopping and being organised is failing here too, and it's getting me down. I spent six days of the last seven with plumbers or heating people *and a very tense site meeting and as most of these trips are unscheduled it means scheduled things get stuffed. I was in such a tailspin yesterday I lost track of time and was twenty minutes late to collect dog dog from the groomers (per Christmas bath).

Now having two plumbers here in Saturday, and they have both worked on the source of conflicted, and I am very worried there will be conflict over that.

Today is my only totally free day and I just cannot get going. Not sure where to start tbh!

    * another great thing a out nice builder is he is self sufficient, I was not tied to the place, indeed he was happy to let dogs out for piddle breaks which gave me freedom!

Poor youyouyou. There's still a week to Xmas so plenty of time to go. Forget the performance, take paracetamol, drink water, eat soup and sleep. 2 days of selfishness cures most ills.

I just had a spurt of energy and ran round doing some stuff before it ran out, lol.

Few more of them each day and I will be happy. :)

If there's the vaguest chance of a spare one, could you throw it my way please? I'm the queen of procrastination today.

If I have a spare one I will send it to you immeadiately.

However, my husband has just told me he is on the way home here, full of flu.

I plan to quarantine him in the bedroom to minimise sending everyone who comes here home with flu (or what may of course be man flu) and try and use my energy spurts to good effect!

I'm actually more concerned that you may get the flu, or whatever it is. Are you in a fit state to cope?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
