His predictions are not so much predictions as mathematical certainties!
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

You have my sympathy. It's totally unfair.

Can you get someone in to fix it toot sweet, or is it not that important?

I haven't even tried making calls today. Hopefully I will get time tomorrow. One post being put in would do for the short term, I can do the rails myself.

I can't really think how someone would manage to hit the fence at yours as you are near the junction....

Both our cars are scared from carparks and no one has ever owned up - there is even the time the guy in the bentley drove in to me in Sains car park while we were both moving then drove off. We also had the mirror knocked off on the road outside our house the other week, even though we have space on the drive we leave the other car on the street to prevent people parking half over the lowered curb section.
    I think....

It was someone coming from the other direction, along the straight bit, probably at speed and not in control, and came to far to the left, probably straight forward into the end of the fence run.

Cars come off at the bend frequently ( we call'the ditche there the 'prat catcher' but this is the straight bit, so......just stupidity i think.

The main reason for the fence is to make it clear it's privately owned but also to protect the hollies.

The main question is, replace with wood again or........stick something solid up.

We knew it would happen eventually. The fence is back from the road, or so in to our land, not on the edge of the boundary.

Edit...re carpark scars....tbh, while I not yet inflicted them I probably wouldn't notice or much care about receiving them on this car. When I knew I was going to be driving in London more at the same time as I was buying a newer car when I was single I purposely chose a car that I loved but was not too special, so that no tears would be caused by getting knocks.

Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I'm aware of certain hospitals where the staff have to pay to park "at work" and there are still no spaces. They have to cram in everywhere and also get fined for illegal parking.

Quite normal to have demand outstrip supply for staff parking in city hospitals. Frequently land locked and intensly developed sites.

Parking for patients needs to be prioritised so I think it fair for there to be sanctions for 'illegal' parking.

There should be more park and ride for staff and patients for hospitals - or best of all good public transport. The problem with out of London hospitals is that when staff come off late shifts buses have stopped running or are very infrequent.

I found it when I was looking for puzzles and questions for an end of year brainteaser quiz. Also use this site to demonstrate "psychic powers" (before, honourably, debunking them).

I've a feeling I've posted it before anyway. Getting harder to find ones that can't be looked up on the internet!
Over to you guys- can you suggest any (I'm assuming my workmates aren't logged into this forum)
    Puzzles/riddles/lateral thinking questions?:)
