Searching leads to posts in 2005 about Tesco vouchers.
I think my first real post was really about problems we had with house buying: we were going to buy where someone else in the chain wouldn't sell until a charge on the property was lifted that her deceased husband had allowed without her consent. Ended up with the chain collapsing and us not buying that house (thank goodness because 2 houses in that cul-de-sac were knocked down and rebuilt, the parking is atrocious and one of the neighbours keeps 2 horses in the back garden on a plot that is 100 ft x 40 ft.)I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. My first NP post:Early teens and you won't be seen out with your parents. Wherever. Just in case anyone thinks your a kid who either hasn't got friends or can't go out without supervision.
Late teens and you are happy to go anywhere, as long as parents are paying.
Still true 3 years later. Now confirmed by DS2 as well as DS1 who I must have had in mind at the time.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. My first post on the original NP thread...Oooohh, I wanted to call my youngest son William but then discovered my sister had claimed that name for one of her children plus hubby really didn't want it.
He has it as one of his middle names though....
Does that make me semi posh? :rotfl:Originally Posted by Snooze
LIR I get a vision that you are very much like the woman in the Wylde family in Emmerdale (I forget her screen name but her that's married to Mark). Are you anything like her? I imagine you living in a Home Farm type place with a millionaire 'DH' (as you refer to him) and have horses and a 59-plate Range Rover Vogue and a kid called Will (all posh people have a kid called Will). Am I warm?
RWe made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I had forgotten all about snooze? Wonder where he (?) is now.
Still no kid called anything, still no range rover vogue,. I want a Volvo four by four ATM. And I still want a nippy car, I really miss a nippy car. Still don't know anything about emerald either.

So, Kate has finished in our bathroom, an excellent job. And I deserve a pat on the back, as I did not even ask her whether she has any siblings. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Welcome Goldiegirl. Nice to have you with us. Do you like mushrooms? Are you Jewish? Do you live in Hertfordshire?
Mushrooms - yes
Jewish - no
Hertfordshire - no, but I do have a cousin who lives there.
I've lived in Kent for the last 30 odd years, but I was born in Essex. and yes, I've heard a few Essex girl jokes!Early retired - 18th December 2014

I am cross about vacuousness in business and idtiotic behaviour and various other things. I really am feeling more and more liz jones like. Is that what frustration does...turn you onto something you really dislike?
But this negativity is balanced by a delivery from misskool (is even the post in the south east faster?)0
