I think we had the toothbrush conversation before.
Consensus was that sharing brushes is yuk yuk, sharing base and swapping heads is just a little bit yuk.
I can agree with that. All body fluid sharing should be banned.
Today had the heating people's electrician here. Haven't heard when the head honcho is coming back or the plumbers. But I have been out and about a bit, so hard to get hold of.
Looking forward to getting the sign off so we can make plans for weekends etc.
Kiwi fruit with teeth is going to the doggy hairdressers tomorrow. His first hair cut. It's just a short session to get him used to being there, so no from from poodle style trim tomorrow. Sadly.0 -

Sorry to be pedantic, but they sell toothbrushes with different colour heads so that you and OH can distinguish between otherwise identical brushes, not so that you can swap heads.
Heads detach so they can be replaced more frequently than bases in more expensive models. Then why have the different colours in the same box instead of boxes with mixes of colours? Just sell boxes marked 'purple ones' or 'blue ones' or whatever?
Edit...
Googling toothbrush sites ( who knew?) seems that this is right, the colours are to share base unit and separate heads, so sharing can be done with upto four users.0 -

This is another "Mushrooms"!!
It's a no go from me i'm afraid
Me too. We both have them, but would never share. No to mushrooms, no to toothbrush part sharing, yes to Formula 1.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I've not been using my electric toothbrush since I got a manual one which is great. It's got a split up the plastic bit of the head and seems to work really well. I got it when I was going away and never returned to the electic one when I got back.0

Same for us....only we planned to get purs out of storage every time we went into the boxes, and always either couldn't find it or forgot. It's been a few years. I don't mind a manual, but I can feel and seel the difference with the electric for me.0 -
I had an electric toothbrush a few years back. It was ok, but I also liked a good manual one. However the new one that I have is just on a different level. It is so much better it is unreal. It's not quite the same as, but similar to this one:
