No idea how long the laptop takes to charge up - but I might be able to get online for an hour a night by charging it up and taking a drive then parking up until the battery dies.0

Plug a phone into it and dial 17070, that will tell you the number assigned to it. Then phone BT (or whoever) and get it reactivated. 9 times out of 10 they can activate it at the exchange and don't need a home visit.0

There is also the chance the last tenant had sky. There are two cables in the wall - when I tried to use one as an aerial for the telly, one had a sticker on it and said Sky something or other. The other one didn't fit in my set top box (wrong fitting/just a bit of copper wire) .... so I can't be 100% sure the last person had "a proper phone"0

I am surprised the laptop's lasted this long! Power says 68^ remaining! Been on just under 30 minutes now.0

I also really liked the way the Spurs fans were so concerned and so warm to him when he went back as a guest.
Can't wait to see him on the Strictly Christmas special.
We were travelling back from somewhere, Mr S listening to the Spurs match (he is a fan) when we heard the drama unfold. I felt like we held our breath as we hoped to god he would pull through on the pitch.
Like many others we felt real relief and joy when his recovery was announced.
I only have to hear the name Muamba now and I get a warm fuzzy feeling.0 -

Seem to have found the answer to the BTOpenzone and O2 mobile broadband answer. It's the same name as another service - and you can only connect to it if you are in a bar/cafe running it .... it's not the same BTOpenzone that I pick up on my "available networks" box, as they are home users and I can't connect.
Daft bar ... stewards....
They don't make it easy to find out/discover these things at all0 -

If last tenant had sky, you can see it by poking your head outside, they don't normally remove the sky satellite dish.
you could possibly ask work if you can borrow a phone from work to plug in and call 17070. Take it as you leave and plug it in as you start work. Or they will have some lying around, we always have random spare phones kicking about.0 -
