PN, if you can stop for a breakfast at a Weatherspoons on the way to work one day, they can connect you to the internet free with a service named after bad weather.

    Other breakfasts are available.

The dish will be on the south of the house facing slightly east.

Tesco's is O2 and they have very good deals. Just I can't get their signal. I had to contact O2 when in Germany once and found their landline number via a website called Say No To 0840 oir something like that.

Tbh I'd imagine the MSE site would have people that can put you wise to the right numbers better than I can.

Its saynoto0870.com - I always look on it if I need to call somewhere as I like to use the minutes that bundled with my mobile :)

I made a bit of a boo boo yesterday....I had been on youngest's Ipad to look at some bits and pieces on Ebay and had logged in.

I forgot to log out, won an auction later on, on my laptop and middle son was playing a game on the Ipad when a blooming great alert from Ebay came up saying what I had just purchased.

Yep you got it, it was his Christmas present!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Oh bollox. How did he respond? He sounds a very practical type, so I wonder if he would be relieved to know he's getting what he wants.

If I am lucky ... this will post.

I've found a "sweet spot" inside.... just. RIGHT by the ferkin' freezing, draughty front door. Laptop atop a small coffee table, with an upturned big box on it.... and I can get a 40% signal. BUT - I've a signal and it's inside. Just bl00dy cold, inconvenient and a nuisance :)

Edit - and I got the telly working (that took some going...) but it's going. However.... I am not in that room :) telly in one room....,me up the hall and round the corner in Cold Comfort Corner.

I have a 5m usb cable I could post you.
    I think....

If you ask on freecycyle you can maybe pick up something local too. Bring a mate along for company though if you have to pick the item up somewhere you don't know the people.:)

Generally speaking, the higher up you are in a house the better the reception and being near windows helps. We have cold spots in terms of network connectivity in the house, I blame the solid walls.

Do you mind if I ask what's in your box silver? I do have stuff together, but no phone as my wired phone broke. Wondered what else you've got that I can steal the idea for:o. Yours sounds better than mine...

Two torches, spare batteries for said torches
    One box of matches
One gas filled lighter thingummy (for gas hob and real fire)
Phone number list: - electric power failure line (08000280247 and 08007838838 not sure if they are nationwide),
    neighbour next door,
    elderly couple 4 doors away,
    alarm people
    old landline phone

Additionally there is a box of duraflame as you enter the garage from the house to garage door (too big and flammable for my box).

Plus plus my mobile phone has the numbers in it and a flashlight app and an 0800 app (so you can dial the 0800 numbers without charge).

    Is it available on android?

I came home shivering tonight, lay down and slept for almost two hours and woke up slightly better. It would be fair to describe me as, ahem, "nervous to cough".

Power of suggestion? Coming down with something? Made a cocoa and have eaten too much to try my "eat a vindaloo and sweat it out" policy for minor bugs.

Not too sure that would marry too well to the gut symptoms anyway.:D
