Re the poll... although I've never met Generali, I'm reasonably sure that mine are bigger than his.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Re the poll. It's not about size but what's beneath.
Used to get elec cut's here quite a bit (twice per year) but very seldom now.
Rained most of today and there is a massive puddle in the field behind and a stretch about 30 metres of road which is under between 8"-10" deep.
Good for cleaning the underneath0 -
I think we should have built an arc this summer.
It just keeps raiNing. The gutters cannot cope, the ground isn't coping.
I can cope without heating sort of but the mud coming in the house does my head in, but everytime we or the dogs go out, mud comes in!
Shattered today. Had first real morning out since this summer, went to the Christmas market in bath.
I got quite tired, and made some random shopping choices.......obviously deprived of a shop for so long made me a little crazy.
Tonight I logged on while cooking supper expected it to be 8:40 or so, and it was about half six. I was crushed I had to stay awake do much longer! I hope toothsome kiwi sleeps tonight because I certainly want to. And dh and I were both restless last night so tired today.0 -

In the last 2-3 hours some of the "worst rain ever" has fallen here. I expect there'll be lots of reports of localised flooding when I hit the news pages.0

Thanks PN. Used your suggestion and realised I'm not even 20m higher than you, and what's called a hill in London probably wouldn't be called a hill anywhere else! There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
