The golden rule is that white things only ever, ever get washed with other white things.
Depends what's left in the pockets and who's responsible for checking them pre washvivatifosi wrote: »lir coming up at 12.00 on Black Friday site Amazon are hunter wellies and a kayak for the cake. Didn't know whether you'd be interested.
AFAIK Hunter wellies are just cheap poor (outsourced) wellies with a Hunter label stuck on them these days.
Might be worth checking out some reviews first.0 -
And finally, mainly nikkster and misskool I guess....
On behalf of friend....
Returning to work after long absence and portfolio career (patchy). Favourite jobs have been lab based science work....some petrochemicals for example, where did really well. No degree, looking for low level lab work job (as opposed to research for which has no educative preparation).
What hope and what next? Quite fancies bio lab work.0 -

Sorry, I know I've asked a similar question before, but just trying to get my head round all the updates. I'm not very good at adding separate posts together to see the bigger picture.
Not far. No rooms will be complete, that was not the brief to nice builder. To press ahead without too much debt we are leaving floors as concrete, for example. But liveable in.. A temp kitchen rather than the final one, but liveable. Not sure if we are going to have a kitchen sink or just use the utility one, we'll decide this weekend.
I'll post pics later or tomorrow.
Heating/ hot water now definitely not in until at least next Wednesday.:mad:
Poor nice builder was collared by heating engineer (or volunteered maybe, as he is kind) to try and broker a peace deal with me. N'uhuh. Nope, not doing it. Think nice builder was worried about me but then realised....I hold my own. The capable of being 'nasty' architect who is feared by all is partly there to protect people like the heating engineer from me, as I only really pretend to be nice. And sometimes not even all to well at that.

Workwear.
I wear dresses and jackets for work most of the time. All high street stuff, East, Phase Eight, Planet, M%S etc and my cosy Jaegar coat.I usually have a scarf draped about me . Have few decent hand bags and usually Russell & Bromley or Carvella shoes. I go for a business like but friendly look. I am glad suits are less 'in' as I look bossy.
Mr S wears jackets and trousers, mostly open necked shirts, the occassional jumper:eek: but will wear suits and ties,Church shoes for formal meetings.
His summer wear is polo shirts and chinos, and docksider shoes.
He also gets to wear Musto wet weather gear and logo'd polo's or shirts with his name embroidered on them. At times it is appropriate - large events - media etc, other times everyone already knows him and he does not remember the names of all of the unlabelled .0 -
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
