There are loads of people willing to ride few with intelligence or who would be trustworthy. There is a local teacher who has a good rep, so I think I will call her and ask.
Having all sorts of crises today, horses, houses, dogs and even a chicken mini drama.
Oh no lir, hope things are under control now.
I hope everyone is ok and behaving themselves, especially the kiwi with teeth0 -
Assuming my writing was legible and everything was processed as it should have been, payday is very close. I am very excited0

Kiwi with teeth. ( maybe that's a better online name than curly) is currently hurtling around the room like a big guinea pig on speed. Dog dog is flat out in front of the woodburner, with her back to him, but big dog is in the flight path, so she keeps grumbling and growling. Toothsome kiwi thinks this is SUPERB and likes to bark and growl back.....we are creating a monster.0 -
Lovely to see you. Hope all well with you and your family. :hello:
Coke. The 250ml bottles are about the right size for me for at home - a 330ml can is too much for me. In the pub I drink it by the half pint, which takes me ages. .
That's a puzzle. Why are cans that size? Everybody I know who drinks a can gets about 2/3 of the way through and forces the rest down. They stop being thirsty about 200 odd mls into the drink so |i wonder if the optiomum size of a soft drink is smaller than a typical can. their fizziness would make them extra-filling anyway. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
I think it was my 'deprived' childhood for my not wanting dizzy drinks.
We didn't have fizzy drinks when I was younger, just plain water or cordial and although I did go a little mad on fizzy drink when I moved out, it never really agreed with me and I would find myself fancying a cold glass of water over a fizzy drink.
My 'deprived' childhood made me flinch this evening. Flatmate did too many peas (didn't know such a thing even existed) for their dinner. And threw the surplus (still hot) in the bin
And there was me preparing a dinner composed solely of things which were bought as they were going out of date :rotfl:0 -

When I lived in Bethnal Green my flat mates were a young couple. He got his first job, and his first salary. He spent the lot on a Jean Muir dress for her.0 -
