    Mistaken identity??? What is he saying, 30 years on one tory grandee looks much like another??? He's a victim, so we have to be sympathetic, but had any one else made such a false allegation they would be hung out to dry.

    But surely BBC investigative journalism has come across the concept of unreliable witnesses before. it would appear they never actually showed him a photo of the guy he is alleged to have named and said is this the one....
