Guess ... who ..... just got an indian :)
I ate it OK, but washing up meant clearing somebody else's salad items/prep out of the way first.... slovenly is the only word. Well, no, I could come up with a list of words ... but slovenly will have to do for now. Oh, and I'll bung in a quick "selfish" too.... slovenly and selfish. Probably key traits of narcissists.

Things are generally fine here, but I mopped the kitchen.floor yesterday and it has reminded me,why we were brought up.as strictly my shoes on in the house. Had a leaf through the local paper too... Assuming things go well settling in over the next few months becoming a ftb looks like it might be possible sooner rather than.later. I'd better stop stimulating the local economy and get back to being mse :o Though things have either been reduced (food) or from budget type shops (household)... Honest!

Find somewhere with high ground, tnight, & you'll see masses of fireworks.

I've driven down the birmingham new road a few bonfire nights, & in certain places, they're everywhere.
I recall a friend having radiotherapy, & therefore couldn't be in crowds etc, as it wipes out your immune system. They didn't know my plans - I filled a flask, got some snacks, & took them to a high up place where they could see across the city seeing loads of pub displays, people in their backgardens, and so on. e were able to sit in the car with a cuppa. Was great (apart from when they started crying...)

Lj, that is such a lovely thing to do.

I got up, went out for a cig, came back/had a bath and washed my hair ... then it was time to "get out/away" so I went to posh garden centre en-route to an indoor market/car boot (c/burger for lunch at the market) and then took a random meandering route home (that included being a little lost but confident) ... then I've been hiding away in my room, then I went out for a cig and had the brilliant idea of getting an indian, which involved driving round the one way bit 3x to find a parking slot.... I then ate it, put half in the fridge for tomorrow, did the washing up/put away ... and am now hiding in my room again :)

We took LJ's suggestion and watched the town fireworks display from a nearby street whilst sat in the car for free....would have cost £11 otherwise!

The lads in the band are gearing up for their next gig and it's a bit of a big one, still for charity so no payment but the exposure they will get will be massive. At one point, it looked like they were going to have to pull out as one of the members has been having some problems recently (he has had an attraction to tall buildings and the idea of jumping off them without a parachute) and one of the other members thought it may be best not to put pressure on him by having to perform. However, the not so well one has said it will be an ideal distraction for him as music calms and lifts his mood.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    :)

    I got up
    Made a cup of tea
Put the dinner on (aka put the chicken in the halogen oven)
    Washed up
Peeled potatoes, boiled them and put some in the halogen and left some in the pot.
Prepared all other bits and pieces for the dinner.
    Served dinner
    Served pudding
    Watched the GP
    Took James to work
    Went to my parent's
    Watched fireworks from the car
    Went to the shop
Put a load of washing on (which involved collecting all the stuff up as Jazz, our cat, likes to nick pants and socks and leave them in my bedroom)
Supervise middle son in toasting crumpets on the grill (a bit of life skills training on a Sunday)

It doesn't escape me what a luxury days like this are. Not for a second. I am very lucky that I only have to look after myself -I find that enough of a challenge most of the time. Things have been and could be very different.

We had a new path laid last year it is fossilised sandstone and we were really pleased when it was laid. Unfortunately our very wet clay soil is covering it in a very slippery silt and it has been lethal ,so I cleaned out the chooks this afternoon whilst my husband powerwashed the path.

Otherwise a quiet day here. Had a power nap:D after being in the garden and cooked dinner this evening - we had roast lamb and DD (not me -result!) made stuffed peppers with brown rice, tomato and chorizo. Then I had power nap number 2:D

I should be very powerful by now.
