LOL ... reminds me of a job I took on once. It was a temp job and they interviewed me... at the interview I knew I was out of my depth, but the rate/hour was a bit handy so I let them pick me, I let them choose if I were up to it .....

..... managed to blag it for four well paid weeks before I was terminated gracefully :)

Errr... thanks for those confidence-inspiring words. Having spent quite a lot of money on a car I could do with staying in employment a little longer that that!
You can do it nikkster, I am certain you can.

I hope so. I think if I can make a go of it it'll be a nice place to work and an interesting and satisfying job. Can't ask for much more than that.

    peak flow?

that is good, i am only 107% and i do stupid amounts of cardio exercise. smoking probably doesn't help it though...

I am monitoring my peak flow at present and have to record it on a chart morn & night to track progress. I put it on a spreadsheet rather than on the card that comes with the meter. Easier to graph.

Last week on a routine visit to GP I am to show the chart. Except I forgot to print it, so nipped in to pick up laptop on way from work to GP surgery. Felt very silly showing him my results on a screen.

    That is so cute.

When I said I don't feel like a grown up I didn't mention that half of the time I feel like more of a small child!

So long as it wasn't a whole powerpoint presentation, I'm sure it was fine.

Our squid looks great, thanks for the help Generali.

But the winner is going to be the cheesecake...I licked the spoon and it's delcious. Delicious....a masterpiece.

No problemo. Glad the cheesecake is good too.

It's another glorious day here, it's such a lovely time of year in Sydney. It's going to be 30C although they say its going to cloud over later. Then we've got a 'cool change' coming through later when the temperature drops by 10-15C in about an hour in the evening which is really refreshing and helps you sleep. Good eh?!

The jacarandas are all out which is an amazing sight. I looked out across suburban Sydney (Ryde for those that know the city) and it looked like lots of higgledy piggledy houses in a hazy sea of purple. They're at the point where the flowers drop so you get this lovely purple carpet of petals on the ground. Later that turns to a sort of slushy, brown, slippery mess but we'll ignore that bit.

I had a day off today and spent the day here
    http://www.the-vineyard.co.uk/spa.asp

The day was a gift from Mr S - had a body treatment, a facial and a pedicure.....lots of mint tea, lunch and a little bit of wine. By the time I got home this evening he was back from Italy and made me sausage sandwiches for tea.

I will leave the chat about the tooth quote for another day I think.

Sounds like you've had a tough day, Spirit!

One of the many things I am hoping to treat myself with come the much anticipated pay day is a bit of pampering. I think I might have already spent my first months pay a few time over. I am generally quite MSE, but I can see that being abandoned (hopefully temporarily).

I agree with you. There is a certain vunerability in being massaged that would keep me on edge rather than relaxed.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    I love massages. Love 'em.

Sigh, I am so out of the habit of organised pill taking. I have enough for tonight and tommorrow but totally forgot to put the repeat prescription thing in today so I will run out over the weekend. :(
