I had a strange dream last night that Nelly had reappeared for a chat.....but I guess I imagined the whole thing!I think....0

What happened after the post I dreamed I posted but clearly didn't.
Also why did nelly get banned originally, I remember the poo issue very clearly and I was sure he was a normal poster?!
Falling asleep at my desk, I thought I'd visit you lot. After 6 months I feel I can sneak off just ever so occassionallysome kind of stimulation may actually keep me awake. I was typing with my eyes closed a few minutes ago!

Nelly used to amuse us all with some great threads and posts. I think the problem was in the 'Arms' where (allegedly) he made posts, some found offensive, on the smoking ban?
Correct me if I'm wrong Phoenix!0 -

I have a feeling that Phoenix won't be posting anything at all...0 -
I don't remember nelly, it might just be a blip, and I might remember him another day.
Oh well.
I am so tired....
Dog dog now asleep by the fire. I was going to keep her awake this afternoon so that I could be more likely to get some sleep tonight.
So, I have while tying this called her over.
Btw, while pretending she is helpless and needing carrying everywhere she has nipped up stairs like greased lightening a couple of tipmes to steal cat food today.. I think she'll live but the play pen seems a better and better idea.

Westie had his first encounter with a hedgehog yesterday evening when I took him out for a pee.
After closely inspecting it and realising it was prickly, he decided to just stand there and bark at it.
Avatar dog used to treat all animals in one of two ways. Anything that ran away was "prey" and he would chase it. He never caught anything - I don't know what he would have done with it if he had. Anything that didn't run away was "dogs" and he would treat them like another dog - wag wag sniff sniff as dogs do when they meet each other. I've seen him do that to a cat (a rare brave one that didn't run away), a hedgehog, and a horse. Eventually, after getting not much response, he would carry on with his walk, and the other animal would look relieved and walk away.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
