    Busy, busy day.....

Met with loveerrr just after school run this morning and off we went for some breakfast at Morrisons (the height of romance hehe). Afterwards we went for a drive and ended up in Bury St Edmunds......

Now, we both have a joint love of historic buildings and architecture (shush, don't tell anyone, my rock chic street cred would be ruined!), so we had a great time studying the ruins of the old Abbey, walking around the Abbey gardens and then discussing the 'new' cathedral whilst doing on the spot research via our mobiles....we then went into the cathedral and appreciated the architecture.

Anyway, rush back home, drop me off, change cars and off to pick the boys up from school, rush back home for them to change, discover the trip switch had been tripped and wasted a few precious minutes trying to discover what had tripped it (we narrowed it down to either the kettle or the plug the kettle was plugged into), then rush back to the school for parents evening.

As usual, the teachers were running late but middle son got a very good report (distinction level drummer apparently in his BTEC music), so we were late getting to my parent's house for me to do them tea before me and middle son went out tonight.....so lots of rushing about.

We finally got home at about 11 tonight where I promptly plugged the kettle into a different socket....and tripped the switch.

    Wonderful....another kettle needed.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

That doesn't need to be mutually exclusive (did I say that right?) Sue. I also love historic sites, old buildings, architecture....but I don't think it affects my heavy rock/metal street cred at all :D

    I hope dog-dog is ok.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Dog dog doing fine, thanks wheezy. She is eating like a pig, which is very unusual for her, but she is about 2 kilos lower than her lowest normal weight range. She often leaves her breakfast, but this morning ate it and aked for more, and asked for food through the night.

Knowing extremely little about dogs (or any other animals), that sounds like a good sign to me - much better than being off her food :)

Westie had his first encounter with a hedgehog yesterday evening when I took him out for a pee.
After closely inspecting it and realising it was prickly, he decided to just stand there and bark at it.
