Looks like my "100 day cough" is going to stop me going to the gym for a bit, grrr.
Quite a lot of my work is office based and I feel I need exercise to keep me healthy.
I may have to start walking more.0 -
I assume you are talking the 3 bed semi wih the gf disabled extension?
It started with watching them before they touched the house. The rage kicked in with the school house and the fact he decked the entire garden and covered the lovely dry stone wall with cheap fencing. He even made skirting out of decking. He built himself a cardboard box of a back garden and said it would be good for socialising. I switched off at that point.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

The parent who doesn't live here came round to day, and was really helpful. We got the feedroom cleaned out a bit, and looking presentable and the bins all organised, just one pallet to sort out and we need dh's strength to do that.
Bending over is still not meant to happen, but it's really hard to do every day things without being able to bend over at all, especially when it's the alternative way you move to get aound other limitations!
I really have to sort out my desk surface tomorrow, it's ridiculous now.0 -

EDIT: No reason to read this, it's just ranting again.
DS is off this week. He needs to revise for exam week when he gets back. All weekend he avoided it by the fact it was the first weekend off and wasn't fair.
Yesterday and today I have been faced with many reasons why he can't do it. Apparently I don't take him out for treats and there's no point in revising as I won't take him out anyway, regardless of what I have planned. He has done an hour of reading and no, he didn't play Minecraft on my laptop.... because it wouldn't work.
He will however do random acts of kindness like make me a cup of tea, or feed the dogs, or indeed wipe the kitchen worktops if it avoids the subject.
I've just been told off for the fact that he swept the kitchen floor last week and it needed doing again. Also that I'm a bad mother because he also cleaned the kitchen worktop on Saturday and I've wrecked it purposely by cooking dinner for the family and then asked him to clean it again. Welcome to adulthood, kid.
Needless to say, the XBox has taken up residence in my wardrobe.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

It's my favourite of the home programmes even though it does warrant one of these  on a regular basis. I like GD too, but it's out of my league. HUTH gives me ideas that are affordable as a lot are being done by BTL landlords on a budget.
My brother is a high end builder and feels similar to you. However one programme he really enjoyed was one of those DIY from hell programmes that just happened to feature his partner's ex.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I thought he was revising just then. However, I did tell him after the worktop complaint that he was free to cook dinner for us all. The text book is in fact a recipe book and he is making the shopping list for the Chicken Ramen, Gyoza and milkshake that he is making for tea!?Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
