Oh dear Scuff, better try again when its not so late (I'm sure its that, not the booze!!).

I use the rag and phone man. Its not the best way to make some money but the payment is worked out on weight so with jeans you'd prob do ok. I took a large black bag of stuff and got £15. My friend took a black bag with some jeans and heavier items of clothing and got almost £30.

    Have a great Sunday!

You are both braver than me attempting crochet, I know I would get in a muddle and get cross with it very quickly, wouldn't have the patience! :D

Trust me Ladybird, I got cross with it very quickly - I can't understand why I just make a mess, the concept is simple - not as simple as my brain clearly :rotfl: will have another go today!

Thanks GL, I don't think we'd make any money with them any other way - they'd probs just end up in the bin, so thought it would be better than nothing! Should be able to fill a bin bag easy, he has no joke 28 pairs of jeans / casual trousers, and only wears 3 or 4 pairs of them, and complains he has none to wear. I can't fit any more in his wardrobe!!

Forgot to say yesterday I also put 2 x £1 coins into the terramundi, and a £2 coin too, which if I'm counting right brings my total up to £12. The £2 coin is also part of the £2 savers, so it gets counted twice as I put it in the terramundi, but I'm trying to keep a track of what's £2 and what's other money :)
Right, off to shower, hoover up & take the decs off the tree before my Dad gets here for Sunday roast. He's bringing a saw with him (for the tree not the beef!) and also his shredder, so hopefully I should get rid of the MASSIVE bag of 'need to shred' that's been hanging around forever!

Well I've already failed on my mission to go to bed at 11 on work nights, it's obviously 12:20am and I'm still sat here. Will try again tomorrow! Didn't have the most productive of days, cleaned the bathroom and took the decs off the tree, Dad came round for dinner and cut the tree up, took it back to his as we have no garden waste here. I also started on the shredding but had to do it in advert breaks so there's still some to do! Flat has had a tornado through it, but will be okay tomorrow when I finish sorting out the christmas decs - cba right now! We have a flat inspection on Tues so will have to be done tomorrow in any case!

    Can't crochet for toffee!

    & now it's 12:34am BED TIME!!!!

Man oh man I CAN'T SLEEP!!!!!!! Help me Mr Sandman please! In better news I cracked the crochet! & the flat inspection was cancelled tomorrow which is lucky as we are in no state to be inspected! Tip central!
Been thinking about the cycle to work scheme that we're currently being offered at work - not sure whether to go for it & I'm going round in circles!
Want to get my studio area in the flat sorted once and for all - this is a January aim! Need to get some jewellery made too (using my shiny new barrel polished :) )
Right, gonna try sleep again !

Erg suffice to say I feel like c*ap today, last time I saw the clock it was around 4, back up at 6:30 for work :( don't know if I'm just being overly sensitive because I'm tired but having on of those 'everyone's picking on me' days - fair enough a couple of the things are because I forgot to do a job /have got slightly behind, but why does no-one go on when I'm wide awake and in a good mood?! Really cba! Feel like a moaning miserable teenager but like the thing I'm slightly behind with / got put on the back burner rather than say to me 'hey this could need doing' , the guy I work with has just sent out an email saying 'this needed to be done then, you haven't done it, blah blah blah' sent it to my line manager as well as me and he sits right next to me! I understand when people don't do things it's bloody annoying, and I know people will read this and say damn right you should do stuff on time you deserve it, but he's sat right there!!!!! I'm in training, he's my main trainer, yes I'm his junior but if roles were reversed I'd talk to him before offloading it onto management! Argh. And to make matters worse I've got my monthly meeting with my line manager today, I already wasn't in the right frame of mind, & now something's definitely gonna get said! Other people seem to be sh!tting on me too today and it's just THE WRONG DAY FOR IT!!!
Sorry for the rant, I could go on but typing on my phone is adding to the frustration!! (Perfect example it just autocorrected 'is' to 'Oscar' !!!!!!!!)

Right, no more whining! Positive thoughts only! Well, positive listy thoughts, and a bit of reflection (if I have the time, manager's meeting at 1!)
Noticed since I've started posting on here I've transferred the lists I'd usually handwrite to the diary - I actually find it much more helpful to handwrite them, and so I'm going to write an actual one and then transcribe it to here - don't really understand what the difference is but it works for me!

    I need to:
-Replace my rear light on the chuggster, before I get arrested hopefully! (I'll do this on my way home)
-Replace 6 (yes SIX) spotlights throughout the flat, as much as I like the current 'ambient' lighting in the bathroom, it won't be long before we're showering in the dark! Same applies for the lounge and hallway (without the showering, of course!)
-Figure out how to take above mentioned bulbs out!
-Take un-working car key back (Saturday)
-Bring driving licence into work for my annual declaration
-Buy a new diary for 2013
    -Hoover
    -CHILL THE HECK OUT!!

This leads to the reflection part of my post:
I don't really understand what I'm doing to myself, but I feel like I'm being suffocated. By myself. I'm sure it's something everyone goes through but I don't know a) how I'm doing it and b) how to stop it. A good analogy would be to say I'm drowning whilst being in a spinning room, and I know if I get out of the door I'll be able to breathe, but because of all the spinning, I can never get to the door to get out.

I need to chill out. I need to figure out how to chill out.

(I'm also not a very good swimmer, just for info :p)

    Haha I don't think that'd relax me ;) thankyou Igamogam :)
I just need to stop trying to do too much I think, chill out a bit more and sort my priorities out. And maybe get some help from OH.. Had a stern word with myself today, other than cook tea (HM lasagne & chips mmm) I've just chilled out - now I'm just relaxing on the sofa watching supersize superskinny and wondering how someone has time for a massive fried breakfast with a hundred of everything every morning!!
Hopefully I should sleep tonight - my mind's not whirring as much as it has been of late - might be different when I'm laying in the dark and quiet!
Went to Aldi rather than Tesco / Sains on the way home, just for bits for lasagne, was going to work out the difference but to be totally honest I can't be bothered right now - I'll do it tomorrow instead :)

Hey Scuff, just caught up, hope you're ok and had a better day today, your line manager sounds like a right To$$ piece! Scuse my language. HOpe you've managed to chill out a little too. I wish I had your energy and enthusiasm, I struggle to get one thing done due to pure laziness. SPeak soon, oh and don't forget to breath!
