Transferred £82.96 overtime to the ISA for emergency money / holiday funds! Also got a letter from HSBC (OD1) outlining my fees/interest/charges for the last year - turns out having that £1500 for one year costs me £379.20!!! Crazy.September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200

Hi scuff, Hope you have a MERRY CHRISTMAS.0

Hi Scuff, hope you had a good Christmas, just catching up with everyone's diaries after being laid up with a virus for last few weeks.
Let's hope the New Year brings us all some money saving luck!

Thanks pwps & gl, hope you guys (& everyone else!) had a lovely Christmas
I had a few crazy days but spent the past couple of days doing absolutely nothing - NY resolution is definitely to chill out more, the last few months have been crazy - don't want to go back to work on Weds, I like pyjamas!!
Christmas was a lovely if not slightly rushed and mildly hungover affair (never bobbing out for a 'quick drink' on Christmas Eve ever again!) But I was well spoilt lady
I also now have not 1 but 2 new moneyboxes, a terramundi (which I'm putting 'big coins' - £1 & £2 in) and a lovely skull, which I'm putting 50pences in
I also made £120 in birthday money which I'm keeping for something nice and treaty to buy with.
Not got masses to report other than this, and that I'm highly disappointed with the end of Merlin... I have grand (ish) plans for 2013 (not in a debt busting way) which I'll let everyone in on either tomorrow or Tuesday! Now I'm off to continue watching Kirstie's Homemade Home and dream of taking a million craft courses!September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
Just looked on my Paypal account and found £24.29 sitting in there that I didn't realise I had - have sent this to OD1

Promise this is the last post of the evening - just emptied out my bag and put a handful of coppers into the big jar, and 60p into the 20p fund

Happy new year everyone, although I am not a happy Scuff, back to work tomorrow boooo! How come it went so blummin' fast?! I was just getting used to having holidays! I can honestly say I'm in a big sulk! id manage to spend no money last night, purely due to the fact that I didn't get to go the the cashpoint so was treated to drinks
we weren't out that long anyway, we live in town so had a couple of drinks here and bobbed out for the midnight strike, and then came back for a couple more. I toddled off to bed at 1 ish, OH didn't join me til 5!! He's a little worse for wear today :rotfl:
Money wise nothing has changed - I have to pay my professional fees tomorrow though so these will have to go on the credit card but I claim them back from work so this is just a short lived expense. Other than that I'm just waiting for payday (23rd) and putting change in pots. I have £20.88 to last me till then (personal spends) and nothing to buy - if I fancy a treat I have my birthday money so can use that if needs be
I have a plan for 2013, not really on the debt-busting way, this is that every one of the gifts I plan on giving (Birthdays, Christmas and other occasions) will be homemade - I'm creative enough that these should turn out reasonably well :rotfl: I think I'll start a separate thread tracking my progress but will obviously be mentioning things here too
excited a little bit! (a lot!)
