Daft question I know Sammy, but what are the chances of you spending that money on yourself? Even a fiver or a tenner of it on yourself? Go on, treat yourself!

Are you travelling at the weekend at all, because you could book standard tickets and pay for an upgrade to first class, it might work out cheaper:

If you’d like to enjoy a little luxury, why not upgrade to First Class at the weekend? The benefits include complimentary tea, coffee, water and biscuits which are available to collect from our onboard shop, and roomier seats so you can really stretch out.
How much does it cost?
Upgrades are priced from £10 to £20 for a single, depending on the chosen route and length of journey."0 -
