Also sorry but does anyone know if Blockbusters do a voucher for just one film hire so I could maybe do a movie night hamper for older nieces??
Hi, I've been saving the 'beans' from the Nescafe jars (at work) for 6 beans you get a free DVD rental from Blockbuster or Tesco Clubcard do 12 Blockbuster rentals for £11.85 in clubcard tokens.
Hope that helpsxXx Vanda xXx0 -

I ordered Blockbusters vouchers last year through Pigsback, I bought them on 3 for 2 and made movie night hampers for my 2 B&Sil's. I've justed checked the Pigsback website and it looks like vouchers can be "bought" for 300 piggy points.0 -
Check out wendym s ' post on this forum about tins at the Works may be useful for hampers.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

oh what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh - HEY!!! lol - am feeling so festive too - its really cold and im sat here in my PJs with a nice cup of tea. Need to get a move on with my what i need to finish hampers list - ive got a fair bit and picked up a few pieces yesterday - i ordered my nephews magic box - its going to be £17.50 for the box which is wooden with a magicians dove painted ont eh front and his name added. then it will be about £10 to fill it so thats him sorted. (dont want to double up on the tricks he already has) plus yesterday i visited the pharmacy to get my winter medicine stock up , they had the night before christmas pop up book for 99p and santa claus letter writign set reduced from £2.99 down to 25p!!!! needless to say its probably the best £1.24 ive spent in a while. Will be reading that ot Ben on christmas eve now with him in his new pjs - planning on doing a letter to santa soon with the boys - im thinking end of october/beginning of November - then his reply can arrive with their magic elfs (anyone on OC may know what the hell im on about there).Time to find me again0

We have Father Christmas 'dropping' new PJ's down the chimney on Christmas eve to signal that it's time to get ready for bed.
DS gets distracted by one of us to do something else where in the house whilst the other one pops them in the fireplace.
One year we even had one of the neighbours outside the window ringing 'sleigh' bells!...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Sammy-Kaye and tinselfairy - I love those special things you do for christmas, makes it even more magical for the littlies.
My dd and dsil decorate the tree whilst their dd is at school; they leave the tree lights on, pick her up from school and go for a meal or cinema or other treat;
they come back after dark, and dgd gets so excited to see that the Christmas fairy has called to decorate their tree for them!!
She's growing up now though, a few weeks ago she asked me if I believed in Father Christmas because one of the girls at school said that FC wasnt real. I was most indignant and said that of course I believed - we all know FC is real dont wel... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
