  • I never said i didnt have time to go into a travel agent!
Or to research... besides thats why you go to a travel agent
as they are meant to be trained in that sort of thing..

When i was in my 20's i couldnt of cared less where i stayed
i used to do alot of allocation on arrival when all i wanted to do was
see the country i was visiting.. Not the room

Now im married with kids i like nicer things...
And what does it matter where my niece sleeps... We now
have the rooms we paid for....

Thats the whole point Dicky... getting what i paid for...
Not that i expect you to understand that .... And thats been the
whole point from Thread Post 1

Without going back through all of the posts, didn't the OP suggest she wanted time with her partner - having an 18 year old in the same bedroom room could 'restrict' the quality of that time.

I understood the niece was with the other family members and so would not be sleeping with the kids.
  • Until we get there we dont know how the rooms are set out
i.e double bed or single beds
    Pull out sofa
But she will sleep with the twins and youngest with us
in our room unless we can move the pull out so all the kids
    in the connecting room..

Either way the connecting room will make it very easy for all of us
    to look after the children
as of course they are the main thing here.....
As long as they are in easy reach at any part of the night ect
    ill be happy

She was added a good month or so after i booked so she will have to
be happy where ever i put her but she is a good girl and is very grateful
    to be coming alone too..

  • If this thread goes on much longer the kids will have grown up and the problem solved.

Agitated? Let me assure you I am certainly not agitated - I suspect that some people may be surprised at how naive the OP has been prior to forking out thousands of pounds.

There are many well seasoned travellers on here who would have offered advice and numerous travel forums that could also be very helpful and could have avoided all of the upset.

The OP must have plenty of time judging by the number of posts on here and time spent at travel agents - which contradicts an earlier posting that the OP may not have time book/research via the internet because of having three kids in tow.

But as the old adage goes - all's well that ends well!

What planet are you on? I can't see that she ever wanted her 18 year old niece sleeping in the same room as her and her husband.
If the niece was going to share a room with the kids down the hall she would have to go to bed the same time as them. Get over it.

Thank you for the update much happier now I know where the 18 year old is sleeping!

I do hope you have a good holiday although I suspect your "quality time" with your husband will have to be very very quiet, sharing a room with one small child and having two more plus a teenager next door (with the door open?).

Yes, because 3am is such a suitable time for 3 under 5's to go to bed!!;)

The niece is 18 and on holiday, at that age would you have gone to bed at say, 10 oclock?
  • Actually Dicky
I'm hoping they seperate us on the flight
Might be the only way I'll get some peace.
