Totally off topic (sorry op) but I would be less than amused if someones child was deposited next to me unattended during the flight!Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
Hahaha I doubt very much that they will
Make my kids sit somewhere else.
No one would want 3 screaming crying children
Next to them for 10hrs :-)
And no to who ever it was... I'm not paying more
I run my own business and if I under quote on a job
And it costs more than that's my loss
I'd never let my kids sleep without me.

An even better idea, you know if you go into a travel agent there all all those carefully packed racks of brochures and all that expensive office equipment.
Just tell the kids it's a play area and 'have fun' whilst mummy talks to the nice person, that might change the agents mind. :eek:0 -
Another great idea by BOB
Im going to do that if i dont get a call back.
A few of you dont think this is a problem however.
To us its a big problem.... We were told one thing.. Have them request the rooms on their system with ground floor
only to be told by Hotel this requests cant be done as does not
exist.
Thats not my fault...
My kids drive me mad but i wouldnt want to be without them or my husband as its a FAMILY holiday....Comping & Coupons!0 -
Haven't read the whole thread, but when we were kids my parents always used to book two twin rooms as opposed to a double for them and a twin for us on the basis we'd get adjoining rooms that way. The concept of connecting rooms hadn't really occured then. May be something to consider for future bookings.

Good luck but I think the answer for the future (for all of us) is get it in writing,
and don't forget to make sure the airline takes care of the kids.

Can you not request rooms that do then? It might mean a 'downgrade' but may be worth it as this situation is causing you so much concern.
I have stayed in suites that have connecting doors and I am surprised that no suites exist on the property with them. It is possible that some adjoining suites do exist - but somebody has beaten you to them.
But consider this, if you did book a type of room that some of which did have connecting doors, again, you would not be guaranteed adjoining rooms - they can be requested, but operational factors such as occupancy at the hotel at the time would determine if your request could be honoured.0 -

As a mother when my children were that young if one of them woke up then I would automatically wake up as well.
I didn't mean when the parents have gone to bed as well but when the children have been put to bed in the room and the parents are up and out.0
