How about filling your time with cooking etc, the old style boards are full of money saving recipes ect, tr your hand at some of them. Will keep you busy."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

Soon to be BR's to look out for are the two Maths teachers from Kent who own 900 houses in Ashford. Currently in dreamland and thinking they will sell off their portfolio. Will be pretty spectacular when, not if it happens me thinks.0

I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I would like to know what all the "famous" people who have now made it big in the world are doing with the millions they are now sitting on.
If it was me and I was fortunate enough to go through BR and survive and come out better off with millions of spare cash, I would like set up a Bankruptcy Benevolent Fund to help people with raising funds for the fees and helping those who are BR and in need. proper board of trustees and system for applications for help etc etc.
It is just a bit grating that these people seem to have forgotten where they came from and that they have been through it and just conveniently forgotten how hard it is.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
But its not the same struggle for them as it is for most of us. They can always rely on a spread from Hello magazine or similar to see them through - whereas we would need to live on a budget.

guess some of these "famous" people are going to hit earth with a bang rather than a bump then! can't say am feeling altogether sorry for this pair. if they can make that much money and lose it all without trying to protect it better then they don't have much sense at all. and what a stupid comment "we might lose our mansion". it should be the first thing that should go, both of them! and they need to come back out of cloud cuckoo land pretty sharply.BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0

I have little sympathy for them. And it annoyed me that all they seemed to be worried about is losing the "mansion". They were lucky enough that they could afford a mansion in the first place.Debt 30k in 2008.:o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free
