I somehow think in the current climate that BR list is going to grow quite quickly!
Can`t believe Lehmann have gone bust!!...I feel for the employees as it must be such a worrying time as many will have had share schemes that are their life savings that are practically worthless!!
Sorry to be a pessimist but if a Bank that big can`go down the pan` then anyone can!!!

The 'bearings' in the front wheel of my bike have just gone 'bust'. Does this qualify?I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

We went to Chelt Lit Fest yesterday to see Julie Walters (very cultured, I know - bought tickets before realising BR was needed!!:o)
She was introduced by a high up rep from HSBC, who sponsor the Fest. Bless him, when he came onstage and said where he was from the whole place roared with laughter! He dealt with it quite well, by making a crack at Iceland which also brought some laughs. To be fair, I don't think HSBC have had as many probs as others!
Julie was excellent, btw!;)
