TV presenter Anthea Turner’s husband has handed over his property empire to a bank, becoming the latest high-profile victim of the credit crunch.
Grant Bovey’s Imagine Homes, once Britain’s largest buy-to-let business, has been taken over by HBoS.
Mr Bovey, 47, is now just a consultant to a new company called Imagine Homes (UK), which is responsible only for selling and marketing the property empire he once commanded. He has been left without a financial stake in any part of the business.
So he is now a consultant to the new company which rose like a PHOENIX from the ashes of his old company which he ran aground then?....
is he dannyboyracer?..................pmsl

I came home to an airing cupboard full of tortoises! However some of them look like they've had unfortunate accidents - comes of not being vetted, I suppose.:D:D:D
Hmmm mine look more like road kill, I don't think I quite have the hang of it eitherAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I have to confess - I have Anthea's book on how to be a perfect housewife:rolleyes:
If anybody wants a read of it -pm me.
Though the warning is - you feel exhausted just reading it!0 -
I have to admit - I've been tempted to get Anthea's book on how to be a perfect housewife! For OhDear! He's the house husband at the moment, and frankly is far better than me at tidying and hoovering!0

This is just an excellent example of the difference between a personal BR and a Ltd company stitch up, neither of em will lose a penny, hes still trading (as a "consultant") and shes still trading, i wonder who lost what (as suppliers)0

JCS1, don't suppose we can persuade you to start a Housekeeping Tip of the Day thread, can we? Just the really important stuff, mind, like the guest towels.0

Is towel folding, a job still open to BRs? I'm still looking for work, and I wondered if it pays well. I'm sure I can do it to a high OCD standard.
I'm just off to the airing cupboard!
Anyone else getting a mental picture of a bloke in a pinny folding towels & doing the housework ???
....must just be me then!!!!
