I feel a bit
as my 'advice' to Noelphobic re the hair curl was opposite to everyone else's, but honest, that's what works for me! I hope you do get something to work, Noelphobic.
Rogueylawyer, re the BS lotion that split and was a TA, you have discovered PRCP (see my sig.) the hard way, what a pain that is.
My stash of really good stuff wasn't huge and it's all gone now, but gosh, it was nice using it.
Will be on later to report a UU... had better go and do it as DS is away and I've sat in my dressing gown all morning. Have done some work online and chatted to DSis on phone. Thank goodness I don't have to use videolinks with my students!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

I think its definitely a case of what works for you - there's not one good solution/product for skincare, hair etc that's going to suit everyone unfortunately or we probably wouldn't have such stashes and some of the companies we keep afloat would be bust :rotfl:
I used an Olia hair colourant last week that is meant to be kinder to your hair as its ammonia free and my hair felt in much worse condition than with my usual colour, turned almost black (luckily it faded quickly although its still a little darker than it should be) and was really generally quite awful (only the smell and application were an improvement) and yet there were people raving about it in reviews! So I guess its a case of suck it and see0 -
Have two uu this morning
Ren Oat and Bay Shampoo, my hair feels nice after washing with this but it feels dry and not clean when I am lathering it. It doesn't lather much as there are no SLS in it, don't think I WBA as it is probably expensive and I can get things I like more for less money.
Alba Science Colour protect hair masque - as this was a trial product I don't know what it is but it was nice enough. When I did the surveys they kept asking if my hair colour was more radiant at this stage than usual but how can you tell unless you have just coloured your hair and used this for longer than two weeks?
No need to buy more of these products as I have other things already open and lots more unopened in the stash.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Right, am definitely back in.We're moving next month so have to save every penny.
UU: Dove Shampoo/Cond for coloured hair. WIBA? Yep, replaced but this time at £1 a bottle (thanks Asda).
UU: Lidl Madame Glamour perfume (Chanel dupe). WIBA? Yep, quite liked it for work esp. at £3.99 but trying to UU all perfumes before Santa brings more.0 -

no need to be. Your way is just as likely to work as anyone elses.
I am actually being ignored on another thread which is very strange. It's not a very busy thread so it is really obvious and I can only assume that this person has blocked me, thus rendering me invisible to them - can you do that? Their user name is vaguely familiar but I can't remember falling out with him/her on MSE so am mystified. Either that or my posts are so boring that they are not worthy of replies3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

I've found that in a couple of locations, I think it's more that certain boards/threads are more cliquey than others. I lurk on the OS boards because I'm far too profligate for the hard core group on there :rotfl::rotfl: On the 'heating' thread several people still have their heating off....mine's on all day :eek:0 -

they could be simply skim reading or it could simply be a case of they dont realise or sometimes in life u come across those people which seem to rub you up the wrong way whether they realise it or not who knows theres nothing as queer as folk. Shouldn't worry about it grab a cupper and a bit of cake and enjoy a face mask or 2 to raise your spiritsRightyTightyLeftyLoosey wrote: »Right, am definitely back in.We're moving next month so have to save every penny.Consolidated and under control 42 payments to go.:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:([STRIKE]£7028.50[/STRIKE]£5990.43Aim: 35 and Debtfree0 -

I really think they are either deliberately ignoring me or have somehow blocked me so that they can't even see my posts. They have replied to people who have replied to my posts if you see what I mean. I find it more amusing than anything else though.
I don't think the cake would be a good idea - the other thread is the Weight Watchers one :rotfl:3 stone down, 3 more to go0
