Hi ladies, welcome newbies and happy birthdays and hugs for everyone :)

Ive been a bit absent lately, but Ive got some sad news that a few of you will already know - Ive had to have Red put down. She had something wrong with her that gave me only a small % of getting her better from, and I couldnt do it to her.

So Grape has had to take over the stash of horse shampoo I have - but I dont see us using it up very soon !!

no ins or UUs for me, but then I finished ages ago bar soap,so its not so exciting when I do any more anyway !!!! :)

I am really sorry to hear this Trudij, sending you hugs, xo
  • some uu's to declare, and probably the last ones for this month:

balance me face wash - I have waxed lyrical about this in the past, love it and still have more in the stash

liz earle botanical shine shampoo - absolutely loved this shampoo, smells lovely and it made my hair super shiney, wba

palmolive bergamot and verbena shower gel, smells lovely and does the job, wba

also need to declare a guilty IN - I used another £10 off voucher towards the price of Molton Brown Blissful Templtree body lotion, a totally unnecessary purchase given the amount of body lotion in the stash, but it smells totally gorgeous!

    happy pampering, xo

Following the Clarins face oil I've decided any really old face creams (I have a few half used ones that are quite a few years old) I am just going to use up as body / hand cream.

Another UU following this approach - a rather elderly 7ml sample of A Perfect World face cream by Origins, seemed to work quite nicely on my feet (not that I would actually buy to use on my feet you understand.... I'm not THAT mad).

Trudij so sorry to hear about Red. Take care xx

Another UU : hair colorant - think it's the L'oreal Creme one. Look human again. Had awful Mallon streak yesterday. x

Think this will possibly be my last UU this month. Will tot them up later ready for Wednesday.

I thought I may have been swayed to purchase the Philosophy TSV on Wednesday or at the least I was hoping QVC would stock a set containing Pumpkin Pie but haven't seen any advertised and don't fancy the TSV in any event. TSV is a set of Amazing Grace goodies which includes body scrub for a change but has hand cream in it rather than a body lotion which I find a bit pointless (though of course it's not as the point would be for viewers to buy this kit plus an extra lotion but not us MSE ladies!). Over the weekend though I've established that Debenhams has started selling Philosophy too and have seen that they together with Boots.com, John Lewis and philosophy.co.uk are selling Pumpkin Pie so needn't panic buy just yet. x

Have a week off work this week and today am going shopping with Emma as she needs new school shoes. Will try to whisk quickly through Boots.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

And another 5ml sample of a Perfect World gone, used as post shower body lotion along with a good slug of a 50ml jar of the same. I think it goes without saying I WBNA given I've kept these for so many years.

And two sample sizes(15ml and 5ml) of Clarins Doux Gommage Polissant which judging by how they felt on my body would definitely have been too rough for the face they are meant for.

I found a hair colour just sitting on the top that I never counted so -

In's - Superdrug black 10 min hair colour
Out - Superdrug black 10 min hair colour - used yesterday!

Hope my Avon order hurries up really missing my naturals shampoo and conditioner:)

So, so sorry to hear about Red Trudi :(. Seeing pictures of her always set the board alight- I especially loved the ones of her dressed up for halloween.
