Whilst I'm in the confessional; I am awful at taking off my makeup. I have been more consistent in taking off my makeup since taking on this challenge. I have so many partially used makeup removers lying around which was ironic I was so lazy about skin care. My skin has improved dramatically in the last two weeks and I think this is due to consistency, now I have in mind using up all my products, and make myself do it instead of being lazy. I feel the challenge has more of a holistic effect than just money saving
Totally agree with this, i have so much nice makeup etc that i hardly used to use before this challange. People have really noticed and made some lovely complments this year in my new attempt to use them products to get a few more UUs :rotfl:noelphobic wrote: »Unfortunately I had a bad fall and had to go to hospital to get my head stitched. This meant that they had to shave some of my hair off. It had been backcombed and had loads of hairspray in so that probably meant they had to cut off more than they would otherwise. Luckily it is growing back and I have long hair and can cover the baldy bit with a side parting. Will probably take years to grow back to the length it was though, as my hair doesn't grow very fast.
Aw thats terrible but at least u could proudly say you have one of the most up to date haircuts for free since i seem to be seeing a growing trend of young girls with shaved bits one side and long hair the other.Consolidated and under control 42 payments to go.:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:(:o;):p:([STRIKE]£7028.50[/STRIKE]£5990.43Aim: 35 and Debtfree0 -

Did the dandruff go away after you stopped using it?
Yes it did, after a couple of days with another shampoo. Those massive bottles last for ages so when I realised it was giving me dandruff I started doing one wash with it, one without in the same hairwash, and that lessened the dandruff issue. It didn't go away completely until I finished it and moved on to another shampoo though.
And if it really does get bad, you could always use it for shaving legs etc!"Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -
been a bad girl(again!)had my Origins facial and bought a bag with serum and two other items and the SA gave me another tinted moisturiser free(good value as only £3 more than buying just the serum.THEN had amake over at Benefit(sadly not with the lovely gay man) and bought a set of primer, eyeshadows, lippy, blusher and mascara at £29.50 again good value as larger primer alone costs £23 and the sa gave me some eye concealer freebie:)....not well up on the names without looking and items upstairs.
will really need to make November a " no buy month"!!!!0 -
Hi everyone! Have an IN to declare -
Estee Lauder Double Wear Mineral Foundation - bought from ebay so it was very MSE. It's come at the right time because my Nutritious sample is almost done! It looks a bit paler than the Nutritious one in the same shade so we'll have to wait and see what the colour looks like on. Will try it out tonight and report back!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

It is so good to hear the added benefits to joining thischallenge rogueylawyer. Spending that bit of extra time on yourself nourishesnot only the skin but the soul too - what a great investment of our time. Iwould also echo what emsjune is saying too. My skin is in great shape too now -I still get flare ups as I do have oily skin but on the whole I am reallypleased with how good my skin looks now.
My bzzagent John Fredia kit arrived yesterday. I am a little disappointed in the shampoo as reading the ingrediants, SLS is number 2 on the list. SLS and my hair do not get on at all, so I am not looking forward to trying it now. Still I shouldn't complain too much as it is free
Not planning on doing much tonight as I had a really late night last night. I was at a Halloween party then headed for a midnight showing of Skyfall. So didn't get to bed til after 4am. Skyfall is very good if anyone is off to the flicks tonight - I should say I am a hugh Bond fan though!

I don't shave my legs very often. I'm not very hairy and pretty much live in trousers. I think I would have to shave them daily for years and years in order to use up 750ml of conditioner!3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Hi ladies: I have bought two more bottles of Tresemme Blonde highlighting shampoo stuff. (Can't remember the exact name). I'm near the end of my current bottle and it was half price, so I bought a replacement and one to stock up as I'm moving flat soon and going to be too busy to be bothering with things like shampoo shopping!
P.S. Am not counting them as they are needed and not excessive...one will be used soon and the other will still get used afterwards. Please call me 'Pickle'
