  • Hello everybody

It's been a rough old week in my house, first my little daughter got a nasty cough that meant she couldn't sleep and stopped eating, then I got it and now my voice is gone! Very little sleep and very little pampering going on.

    Updating my stash list:

    IN:
Original Source Lemon & Lime shower gel (a mini bottle that cost me 30p)
L’Occitane rose petals hand cream (magazine freebie)
Vichy Idealia Pro skin corrector x2 (sample freebie)
Clarins skin illusion foundation sample x2
Nivea for men sensitive face car hydro gel (freebie - they were giving these out on the high street, the woman was not impressed when I asked for one! Can women use men's products?)

    UU:

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream sachets x2 - I really don't see what the fuss is about BB creams, the foundation coverage is ok but the moisturiser isn't anywhere near as thick as I need.
Simple gentle hair shampoo - WBA, made my hair squeaky clean
Nivea Visage Q10 anti-wrinkle day cream sachets x3 -Didn't like this at all, very crumbly and flaky
Nivea Pure Replenishing Night cream sachet - Ok but wouldn't buy
Avon Perfect Wear makeup remover - a TA, the oil and the water had separated!

    Have a good weekend all!

2 deodorant UU this morning, both Sure, one a roll on, one a spray. Don't like sprays so not sure why I bought this! But WBA the roll on.

I have now graduated from hoarding deodorant - in fact this morning I had to use some of OH as mine had run out! :j

Ooohh can't wait to see what you got! I love using Avene products and would love to actually go to France to immerse myself in the beauty products over there! Will have to just wait till next weekend and see what I can pick up in Duty Free on my way to Budapest!

On my own in the flat tonight so might have a bit of a pamper! Hope you've all had a good week, have a great weekend and hugs to those that need them.

    Hello ladies,

Another hectic week over! One UU to declare from a few days back, not a UU, a GA or TA, not sure which yet! Label M Smoothing Cream - wanted to like this, I definitely need something to calm my hair down at the moment! I've plenty of hair but its quite fine so its prone to going a bit haywire at this time of year and being very flyaway/static - I'm trying to keep it under control at the moment with a mixture of serum, hairspray and tumble dryer sheets (they really do work and have the bonus of making your hair smell nice - they're cheap too so its very MSE). Any other suggestions would be gratefully received! Anyway I thought this product which has been lurking around for a long while might help but it had no obvious benefits and smelt very strongly like an overpowering aftershave circa 1970 (I would imagine). :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm not entirely sure where this even came from, I certainly don't recall buying it. A quick Google uncovers that its not terribly cheap either but definitely not for me - its almost full so can't really bring myself to bin but I'm definitely not persevering with it either as it'd take forever to use up and I really don't like it so it'd be pointless. May give it Mum to car boot, someone must like it if they still sell it as this has got to be years old (which admittedly may be part of the problem! :o).

Another question whilst I'm on if I may, I'm thinking of making some bath bombs for Christmas gifts, has anyone tried this? Any advice, tips, opinions?

This could be deemed as enabling so please look away if you wish..... I see this week's OOTW is a Gok set, I've not had any of these products before but I've got Mum some and I think they're rather nice so thinking I may get one for a gift for someone, possibly Mum again but not sure whether to hang on for the Champney's set they usually do as well. I'm definitely not getting myself anything as I usually would but then also get loads of toiletries for Christmas more than likely.... Will not succumb, my no spending is going so well this month! :A

    Enjoy the weekend everyone x

Never heard of using tumble dryer sheets on your hair before! How do you actually use them?

I've got very fine, very straight hair. If I'm going on a night out I put rollers in but it never holds the curl for long despite using hairspray. Has anyone got any tips on that?

one in, one out, which makes me toiletry neutral!

UU Mitchum unperfumed roll on 100ml. HG so WBA. This lasted forever. It started sputtering a while ago so I turned it upside down in the bathroom cabinet and it kept going for quite a while after that. I've got a 50ml one that's only been used on holidays so that should last for quite a while yet.

IN was Tresemme 24 hour body conditioner 750ml. Not been fond of Tresemme products before but not tried this range. On offer in Tesco for £2.30. Bought my HG shampoo Herbal Essences when it was on offer and should have got the conditioner at the same time (don't have a secret stash, honest!) No offers on HE that I know of and begrudge paying full price so will see how I get on with the Tresemme - tough luck if I don't like it as it is a huge bottle!
