Well - that was traumatic to say the least! 4 hours later and I am back. Numerous mold taking has left my jaw painful and apparently I go back in three weeks to have the actual crown fitted....phew!

Firstly HM - well done on getting rid of the moggies for the night. I know how you feel. Her Royal Highness Duchess Dorothy of Mog wakes up around 0400 some mornings to belt around my room like a mad thing. She finds my feet at the end of the duvet no matter how covered I think I am and proceeds to take a dump in her litter tray directly beside my bed as she is not friendly enough with the resident Shih Tzu to have the tray anywhere else in the house.....

Regards saving - well done! Seriously must be a magnificant feeling putting towards your future. You guys will get there easily I know it and am so happy for you..just a little jealous! :T

Now today my food was supremely dry.. the the meal in itself came to around £1.45 but I would suggest another half can of tomato's bringing it to around £1.62. The herbs etc were free as they are now growing in my kitchen and this meal makes at least 6 servings. I think it will cost a little more if you want to add cheese which isn't necessary. Cheese is not good for us unless it's goats cheese... so the Panko and Cheese cost is barely ledgible although I didn't weigh the cheese before grating it it wouldn't have made more than two tablespoons.

I am planning a lemon drizzle cake over the weekend and will weigh everything out correctly for you all.

I am heading to my friends house tomorrow and will be grilling some butternut squash in a honey/chilli syrup with cougettes and mixing through cous cous to have along side the bean burgers and baps that I made the other day with a red onion/lemon juice and salt to make a topping with one tomatore thinly slices and cucumber... dessert will be banana cake and a packet of custard I KNOW I have somewhere in my cupboards! That should fill us up!!!

So my final stop at the Halifax today - I will be suitably tarted up and looking for The Boy...:rotfl:...I WILL pay this bike off today!

    Wish me luck...

Wish you luck? for paying off the bike loan or for meeting Mr Halifax-Hottie? :rotfl:

The 2 ginger cats are staying home alone as they don't like dad's dog (which is a shame because the dog really tries hard to be liked by them) and Hubby's dad is popping in each day to feed and check up on them. My princess sleeps on the bed with us but she just curls up at the bottom, the other ginger one hides under the wine rack or sleeps in a pet carrier in the lounge (won't go in the darn thing when he has go to the vets though!)

I'm making a banana cake this evening with some bananas left over from the fruit box we get at work ;) very MSE indeed:D

Would adding some veggie stock prevent the dryness rather than using more tomatoes?

Just a quickie.. HM that might be the extra depth and flavour that's missing! You know how chilli is great but better with a little salt.. Hmmm that's a better MSE way especially since I have no toms left! Thanks.. x

    Luck required for both..:-)

Aww, lilt, how's the face? I'm curious (but please don't take this to be rude) how did lil-lilt react to seeing your reaction?

Very excited for you Kat, you mustn't have that muh debt left now :T So here's my question, after you're debt free, what are you going to do diary wise?

Missus; My first 400 went into the house ISA too! It's really exciting :money:

Evening all. (Well, afternoon, but it's been a long day!)

Kat, I would have LOVED to see you go ninja on his bum-cheeks. Rude rag-a-muffin that he is, he definitely isn't winning any favours in my office currently. Everyone else was far more sympathetic. The directors (I work very closely with them) were a mix of sympathetic and mickey-taking about it. One said I looked like I had been poked in the eye with a sharp stick, but I just retorted that he looked like he had been stuck in both eyes & he admitted to being very tired haha. Bless him.

HM, I must remember that one next time. Telling him he will get a swift punch in the chops may result in disciplinary proceedings if taken the wrong way  hahaha

Peaty you're not the first to ask. She found it slightly hilarious, like I was wearing a mask for her amusement. She loves it when I put sunglasses on for her as well ;) - wasn;t too impressed when I tried to kiss her with my scaly chin though.

In all honesty, it doesn't look too bad now. My lips are cracked and blistered, but normal sized. I have the skin of a crocodile and it is slightly pink and VERY dry and itchy.

AVOID artichokes! :) I've had some blood tests so hopefully they can confirm what to avoid in future!

Short-bird - my cat had an uncanny prior knowledge of trips to the vet. I rarely took her as she was quite a chipper little thing, so jabs were all it took. She'd live in her pet carrier all year round, then the day of the vets would appear and she'd be nowhere to be seen! I swear she could read the calendar!!

All these mid month pay-days! I don't get paid until the 28th of the month :(

Aww, liltie-kins. At least it's going down! It's great that so many people are being sympathetic :) Lil-lilt is awesome, when I was little if people didn't look as I'd expect I'd just ignore them.. I'm not great with change. :rotfl: Are you feeling alright in general?

My payday isn't until the 25th, all of my bills/payments come out 15-18th of each month.

I just got to say that I love being in a middle-class area in terms of charity shops. I mean, I'm never going to own a house here (ever) BUT they have so many (admittedly lower end) designer clothing/bags/accessories/stuff that they're all around £3-15.

Lol Peaty. I was also a child not great with change. When my sister was born (I was 23 months exactly) I decided that meant I wasn't good enough, so my mum tells me & either ignored her entirely or tried to bite, pummel & pinch her. I also had to go in to see my 3rd year primary school teacher 15 minutes before everyone else got there each day, because if I didn't see him & talk to him privately before, even if it was just to show him a birds feather I had found, I literally would not speak for the entire day... to anyone :O In my defence, he was a scary dude!

OMG how disciplined must you be to still have the money in there for the bills at that point of the month. I thought I was being good getting paid on the 28th then the bills going out on the 1st :rotfl:

I'm jealous! My best friend is ridiculously lucky in life. Her father in law gave her & hubby to be a £250k deposit for their house as a way of apology for selling the home they rented from him... And today she went to a swanky hotel in London with her mum and spent the day trying on designer shoes, finally settling on a £700 pair of Gucci's... How the other half live eh ;)

At least you get bargains & look good! The best you can hope for around here is that someone has left their stash taped underneath a drawer for some unsuspecting old lady to find when she is readying it for sale! ;) Either that or Primani t-shirts, tags still attached ;)

Oh bless. I can't imagine what your poor teacher thought about that. Maybe he developed a power complex after that, I haz ze power of SPEECH in small children!

I'm a cheap skate... I still spend almost entirely the same as I did in Uni.. My sister actually told me that she may not have as much money as me but at least she's not boring. :rotfl: Genuinely most days I only spend on my train ticket and always refuse to take a bus from the train to home, it's only a 30 minute walk.

£250k would be nice! That'd be almost enough for a two bed where I work! I need me a rich boyfriend :rotfl: Good for your friend though, I hope she's the same shoe size as you :)

D: It sounds pretty horrible. When I used to volunteer, we used to get some real weird "donations"; dog beds complete with dog hair, bikinis complete with lady mould, jeans without knees and crotches, etc. Ick. It might be worth going somewhere middle class just to charity shop : P

I am confused. Why, if he was scary, would you have wanted to see him on your own prior to anyone else being around...?
