Laugh all you want abundant... I'll maybe post a picture up once the wedding is over... You may have hit the nail on the head there though... hahaha!!
I have totally lost track of NSD's, shopping spends & pretty much the entire plot for this week... I am going to sit myself down calmly and go do the maths. It doesn't help that ASDA don't appear to have processed a £7.82 refund they owe me (note to self, ring them!!) so I don't know whether I am coming or going with things.
I still have a stinking cold & jellytot just seems to be getting worse not any better with hers, so had a disturbed nighttoe's doing ok though, just a totally different colour to the rest of me!!
Was supposed to see a friend for coffee this morning but dodged as I can't be bothered to get out of my jamas. So NSD perchance?!
I switched my energy to a different provider a while ago & this all went through in December... I was expecting a whacking great balancing bill from the old provider... but instead today I get a miraculous letter saying I have got £6.46 being returned to me on the electricity bill!! Yay:D:D Still waiting with trepidation for the gas bill to drop through though...
First week back at work was completed with a gigantic take away undoing all my previous good work this week. However that first friday take away back was booked 3 months ago and I refuse to feel bad!! My last takeaway was 31st October 2012 so my accounting app tells me... so I'm actually avery good girl!!! :rotfl:
Hope you are all enjoying your weekends!!!

Hi NSK,
I've been playing catch up with your diary and am still waaaaaaay back, and I have a question. Where on the amazon website do you go to see about selling books to amazon? I think it used to be called marketplace but when I click on it all the stuff seems to be brand new and is more for the retailer selling via amazon.
I apologize if you've covered this elsewhere.
Thanks in anticipation.0 -

I have read everyone's posts. I remember very little and who by so... I will reference topics instead of people (sorry)
@where am I?: Many things, last week I went out 4 out of 7 days, which was meant to be 5 out of 7 days. Spent about £15. Additionally I am sick again. So as soon as I get home I'm asleep. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I have a fever, keep throwing up and have the dreaded haze. But thanks for asking where I am.
@Paying off 3k in 3 months (I don't know if this is correct...): Yay well done whoop whoop!
@bridemaid travelling: You might be able to get cash back via one of the normal cash back sites. Maybe double it up via a Cash back CC? Also you can get some money off using a discount card? http://www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk/Train-times-and-tickets/Ticket-types/Railcards There is one for the off peak for south east and not able to have the other discount cards.
Here's some loffles for you all :beer:0 -

Its been a long weekend. I wonder how long I can keep this up. My determination knows no bounds but my little body might give up somewhere down the line! I have now secured 8 hours overtime next weekend and 16 for he following. Take me to a total of 48 hours overtime for the month. Calculated up there is another 46 on top of that for double time.... It will be interesting to see what this boils down to after tax. I think I might be able to keep this going for at least another three months to cover my holiday and the move.....
I have been reading more of my little book... there are many chapters about finding your purpose or direction and ensuring that you are not missing out by only focusing on things that go wrong. I get excited the more I read as I am coming across some amazing innovators, learning how businesses that I know to be massive ( Virgin, Ben&Jerry's, Disney etc ) took a turn for the worse but the leaders refused to give in ... just made lemonade from the lemons life dealt them...
Then there are the people who are not well educated but you are self learners. Ben&Jerry's started with a £10 correspondence course and was eventually sold for something like £132million.
My particular favorite is something I found out about through my own research and interest in the chemicals that are used in cosmetics. It angers me that industries are not correctly monitored when it comes to this subject but then don't get me started on the food industry...
So the Body Shop founded by Anita Roddick is not green. There have been improvements in there formulas apparently but when they originally started they were anything but. The main guy responsible for this was someone called Mark Constantine. Over the years Constantine got concerned over the level of chemicals used in the Body Shops products whereby he questioned them to much and was "released" from his position with a £6million pay off. He lost it all two years later in an online cosmetics company that failed. He started again and today owns the multi-million £££ chain of stores called Lush. And you all love those bath bombs right?
My point is this... if there are hardships along the path of debt freedom they are stumbling blocks we learn from. Things can be super hard for some people and I recognize on a daily basis that I am very happy for the life I have. I get home in one piece each day and I am happy. So I can't let something like a house move run me down despite the bad timing...
Abundant you said in your own thread yesterday about your desire for love. I have one also. But you also said there is a desire within you to know who you are, settle to see what you can achieve when you face your demons head on and see what life may have in store for you in the respect of love once you are through your personal journey...
I have specifically taken time out from dating for over a year. I am awaiting the arrival of my 30th birthday as a landmark and will possibly look to re-enter the world of dating after it. This will then be at least 17 months single and proud of it. I have now, only in the last few weeks, got rid of any men in my life that have been "interested" in order to TRULY feel on my own.. and its a good feeling. It might seem irrelevant to mention this but I have never truly felt my own person growing until I took this step. I was always under that shadow of assuming I should have been married by now..etc etc ( cliche alert )...
I only wish I did this all a little sooner! So yes I am learning from hardships, friendships that have ended, relationships that have ended.. ... that any obstacle that comes my way will be defeated. If not by my determination, positive thinking and new found energy then by my ability to push through whatever I am hit with, I just know now there is something much better waiting for me if I just stay positive and yes look for the signs and listen to MYSELF.... ..that on the other side of whatever obstacle is something I desperately want... that would be debt freedom. And I tell you now.. I can hardly wait!!
Onwards and Upwards!!!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -

 Where have we all gone?!?!?! I miss you guys! I've started spending money on things I don't 'need' Come back, tell me off!!!!
I'm sat on my lunch break at work, half falling asleep after my thai chicken soup as it's terribly warm in here. I may need more coffee before the day is done. I keep meaning to come online in the evenings but by the time I have eaten dinner, played with DD and put her to bed... I go to bed!!
Confession time. I bought DD a dressing up outfit... a sheep!! :rotfl: She looks adorable and it was £5 in TK Maxx... Did I need it? No... Did I need the £8 Fenchurch hoody for myself at the same time? Nooooo.... (If I have 1 hoody, I have a hundred)
Asked boss lady for my wageslip early this month so I can peek at the potential of my full monthly wages... (Only 1 week of this month is maternity...) I am optimistic because I was paid £10 more than I expect in a full month, even with 1 low week!!:D
THIS means, if I can stick to my £1030 budget each month I can save just under £1000 in my own savings accounts in 3 months. Not to mention the OH saving ALL of his wages for those 3 months. All subject to tax credits dropping like anything in April but we will then have every eventuality covered and NO debts woohoo!!
Right... back to work for 3 more hours and then home to my little lady and her daddy
