  • Abundant... If you can fit a gym membership in, just getting yourself to the gym that first time is all it takes. Remember the rush... all the good hormones start pumping around your body & it becomes addictive!!

  • I'm tempted to make financial allowances for a gym during these winter months! Mother is on my laptop getting her MSE fix.. When able to type something I shall in an hour or so!

Just don't get it being-confused-smiley-emoticon.gif I can't see how spending an hour or two putting your body thru utter torture, is considered a good thing to do? I have never had the urge to want to get out of breath, or sweaty, or experience pain on purpose...I'll watch sport, read about sport & sometimes talk about sport but the thought of actually participating fills me with dread.

On the other hand I love the sciences (maths was one of my favourite subjects at school :D ) reading & a good crime story; I am a thinker.
I wish I could muster a smidge of oomph, but swimming-smiley-emoticon-1.gif un weight-lifting-smiley-emoticon.gif un stuff leaves me feeling stretcher-smiley-emoticon.gif

  • ONE SLEEP LEFT!!!

.....And a very Merry Christmas Eve to you all! I have had a day wandering around the town and now I am sat waiting for my brother to scroll through the entire TV listings for the night before I can get back to watching the Grinch.. I need to throw something at him...

I have bought a fitness magazine to see me through to the New Year and get a little bit of reading done on how much I have to do with my disgusting level of fitness. I am not pleased. I have a lot to do. Hummmmph!

BigMummaF - science ain't gonna get ya fit though! For the sake of your heart start walking at least... I am a thinker, as I am sure you have read, but you can't be all brains and no brawn...:rotfl:..hot and sweaty is my favourite passed time...ha!..(I'm not being naughty promise )....

    Moving on.....:p

Christmas in the NSK house has been blessed by the arrival of the 18lb turkey. Nothing quite like a dead bird on the dinner table.. sorry there that's all that you are getting from the rampant vegetarian. I personally don't care what other people eat or drink... I personally love my lentils (I'm kidding they're disgusting).. but hey, its a carcass at the end of the day yes?...

We have got through 8 bottles of shloer in 4 days. Disgusting really but I intend to make the most of it as its all broccoli, brown rice and water after the 1st....Grr!

Eco Farmer - you are very welcome. I would like to know though, is there a chance you are another boy to add to my collection as its very important that I get your colour right? Tell us a little about you though... masses of debt to lose, or are you already a saver...? Fitness wise..?..are you shifting massive bales of hay on your shoulder for the sake of your heart or carrying one around your waist..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:...come now, don't be shy having lurked for so long.. you know I'm not as nasty as my DDD challenge might make out.....ahem...

Right lets go confess on the DDD thread...

  • I've read bits and pieces of this diary and its good, I think you should include in your sig ur starting stats. I know they are in the title but it shows a good comparison.

    Good job

thanks for the welcome:j.ok about me i work on a farm with my father and as such i draw a descent salary my debt isn't huge i will total up at the end of december but i think its roughly £3,500. i have this debt by firstly buying a very expensive birthday present and then having a change of circumstances. My son was diagnosed with a comprehension disorder and we were adviced/forewarned that he would "get lost" in a large class in the state system so we decided to educate him privately this obviously means nearly all our spare cash now goes on fees and the repayment of the 3.5k is very slow indeed so thatswhy i came to the DFW pages and stumbled across this marvalous thread. i realise that this a slightly different story to some on here but the principles i hope are the same . As for my fitness well modern farming isn't all about throwing bales of hay around any more .At work we are in are quite period of the year all hell lets loose again in the middle of feb so for the 6 weeks after xmas i will be working hard to improve it i'm hoping my gym will let me rejoin for a couple of months as i cancelledmy subs back in october as i wasn't using it much. anyway enough about me off to peel some potatos for xmas lunch!
oh sorry forgot to mention in case it wasn't obvious i am indeed a boy!

  • Hi all

Merry Christmas Eve!! I am in my new xmas pyjamas, with an ovaltine about to read the christmas story (another tradition) and hop it to bed!!

Eco farmer, welcome!! I think there was a story in the newspaper or you may have seen the recent google adverts showing a woman called Julie & her leather satchels? The Cambridge Satchel Company.... SHE started her company purely to pay for private school fees for her daughter who was getting bullied. Multi-millionaire now. What you are doing for your son is fantastic. I hope he thrives at school. :)

My ham was cooked yesterday, the pork today (crackling is amazing!) and all of the veg has been lovingly prepared by me and the OH after we put the little one to bed. She is oblivious, despite no longer being able to reach the Christmas tree after Santa (OH parents) appeared this afternoon with half a room full of presents...

It has been a very mellow day in all after a mad rush to clean up first thing. We have had several people visit but are now alone until lord only knows when!! I watched The Snowman & The Snowdog... That brought back some memories, new as it is!! I've also seen Lady & the Tramp <3 and most of the cbeebies pantomimes today. Haha :/

My only sales purchase for next year was to be a printer, with a £22 argos voucher we have towards it too.. MIL & FIL arrived and made us open a present early... New printer!!! :O Wireless... I can print from my phone!! But better still.. I can print vouchers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol. Happy happy!!

Hope you all have a tremendous Christmas. I am sure I will get some down time at some point tomorrow to say howdy.

Night night, listen out for those sleigh bells ;)
