Hi everyone,
I'm back from holiday so have just totted up purse totals. Things currently stand as follows:
2nd purse: £50
3rd purse: £42
Stock value: £167.30
This week I'm going to have a stock check and see what I need to top up. I know that we are getting low on shower gel and shampoo for instance so they are on my list. We also need cereal.
Hope you are all going well.

Oh my life! I just did a stocktake and lots of items have been used and not accounted for. Another £61.45 into 2nd purse. So totals are now:
2nd purse £111.45
3rd purse £42
Stock value £107.65
I'm keeping 2nd purse total high for the moment - usually it's £50 - as I want to stock up on some items this week.

Well wishful thinking in that I might get to the shops to bargain hunt this week! Too busy working/entertaining the children/getting our boiler fixed, to get up the town
I did manage a quick Tosco shop and bought HP cheddar x 2 and HP 'light' Cart door ice cream x 2.
Have totted up items used this week which include dog food (always a big expense) so £24.80 going into 2nd purse. This means I have transferred a lump over into 3rd purse as follows:
2nd purse £50/£50
3rd purse £120.31
Stock value: £100.75
Hope you are all going well.

Hello Everyone!
Oh my goodness, things are a bit dire in my storecupboard at the mo. Had a wonderful summer with the kids home from uni, lots of their friends coming up to stay, and a combined 19th and 21st birthday party held at home, with a houseful of their friends staying over afterwards. All this was thoroughly enjoyable and my stores were an absolute godsend, but there is only 1 tube of toothpaste and a tin of coffee sat there now!
So, I am starting from scratch again. It will have to wait for a couple of weeks as any spare money will be spent setting the kids up with bits they need to go back to uni, so will post again in a couple of weeks when I'm on more of an even keel.
Hope you all keeping well and finding lots of bargains xx0 -
Hi everyone,
It's a new month so £20 going into 2nd purse for September.
I bought some HP dove shampoo and conditioner in Morriebobs the other day (don't usually shop there so a nice surprise!). Also need to do another stocktake, as the laptop was poorly last week and I know some things went walkies from my shop during that time with nowhere to record it!
Back shortly with new totals.

I keep buying a stocking up for Esther's Bagels, but I can't keep track of my stock value. I have no idea where I am at with it. I do keep putting money in my second purse when I buy from my stock and have so far transferred £45 to my Christmas savings. Does anyone else have this problem. I know some of you use spreadsheets but I'm not at all computer literate and wouldn't have a clue about those. I have tried making lists but as soon as I've made them they are out of date. The good thing is that in principal it is working for me and that is what matters. So:
2nd purse. - £84/100
3rd purse. - £45 Christmas savings
Esther xSecond purse £101/100
Third purse. £500 Saving for Christmas 2014
ALREADY BANKED:
£237 Christmas Savings 2013
Stock Still not done a stock check.

Evening! Been taking advantage of the cashback apps i have and got some good loot!
uncle bens egg fried rice £1 ---Cashback £1
uncle bens special fried rice £1 ---Cashback £1
sweet and sour cooking sauce £1.69 ---Cashback £1
sharwoods egg noodles £1.69 ---Cashback £1.70
Got them all in morrisons. The app for iphone i used for these was called Shopitize if anyone wants to have a peek!.
So for items costing £5.38, I paid 68p. Good going I think. We have used to sweet and sour sauce for tea tonight and it was very nice!. Will wait for those to be on offer and get a few in for another time. Easy to throw together with the noodles we just got aswell.
Only £28 left in the second purse but will be adding the cashback that I just withdrew to that so £8.60 in total to go into the purse when it hits my paypal account. Enjoy your evenings! xx

Hi Esther, if you have an Iphone, download the app called Shopitize. What it does is it gives a list items (which change every so often) you can get cashback on and when you purchase those items, you just scan the barcode then take a photo of the receipt. You need to get up to £5 to redeem to paypal. It's brilliant.
If you use the cashback sites Quidco and Topcashback, they have apps too for the Iphone which you can gain cashback on groceries.
Hope that helps! xx
