    Hi everyone,

    Welcome maz1964 and myonlysunshine

Usual weekly update from me. Used £20.35 of stock this week, but bought some more dog food on offer and some packed lunch bits (cheese portions/bics/ys rolls). Totals now stand at:

    2nd purse: £22.88
    3rd purse: (still) £45.93
    Stock value: £188.90

I do the grocery challenge and this month only 24% of my expenditure went back into 2nd purse as opposed to about 50% a few months back. This is definitely making an impact on how much money I can save and ultimately claw back. Need to address this problem otherwise 3rd purse will never pay for DDs new school uniform in September. Will just about afford the shoes at this rate :rotfl:

    MUST TRY HARDER!!!

    Have a good week everyone

I used a £4 off a £40 spend when I was in Mr T's today so put that £4 straight in my Christmas savings tin, the one where my third purse money will go if I ever get any. I was really pleased though to be able to get the bargains I have so far and to have a tangible way of seeing the savings. Thanks Coxy and Mothership and all of you for this thread. God bless. Esther x

  • Had some awesome news, the reference checks went ok for moving house so that will definitely be happening next Friday! Woohoo!. I seriously need to now get a wiggle on and get packing. I've been putting it off. Going to pop to wilkinsons tomorrow and pick up some plastic pop up crates for stocking up. I also just bought a big shelving unit for the new study which will now be a stock room for bathroom products and washing powder products! Had a NSD yesterday but bought back a YS pack of rolls which I paid 19p for and put 59p in the purse. Going to do a Mr S shop when we move as I have a £12 off £60 shop and will use it for stocking up. Enough babbling, on to do some washing now!

Goals: Save £500 for emergencies, Save £200 of Amazon vouchers for Xmas, fix my holey clothes!

Been buying again as the non dairy milk offer was so good and I go through it so fast. So my second purse is now really low but it will build up quickly I think and I am really getting into this. ETA: just bought some things from Esther's Bagels, so pleased with myself. Signature updated.

I'd like to try this please. It sounds a bit complicated-hoping it will get easier as I go along.
I'd like to save £500 towards Christmas (a bit ambitious I admit but at least it's a good target to head towards)
My shop name will be tatty's shop :)
I'd like to start with a tenner
Do I have to put my purses in my signature?
Hoping some of you more knowledgeable peeps can help me fathom it out if I lose my way-please?
