I have heard customers complaining because they have not been contacted after 1 hours when their card has been blocked on a security check. Even on a bank holiday... :rotfl:
Given that lost/stolen is open 24/7, it would be a simple task for the staff to have access to the security system to allow clearance of card blocks.
Would not even cost much.
A bit of training to work the security system. Couple of hours max.
And a few extra users access, if they have to pay per user.
I'll let you pop that idea on the site. As a staff member it may get you a few more brownie points....
I know thats how ours works.
:beer:Now lets get back to helping people and not bickering, please:beer:

I have been having loads of problems trying to use my Nat West debit card in the automatedpetrol pumps at Asda and Tesco and having the transaction declined even thoughthere were funds there for weeks
problem solved :j just ring Nat West on 0800 200 400 and they will arrange fora fully authorised card to be sent out, the operator stated that she didn’t knowwhy one had been sent to be in the first place, hopefully this will solve theproblem:T

You don't want a fully authorised card, that's the online card that won't work.0

I suspect you will be sent the same card as the advisor would have most likely not understand what the issue was, plus advisors on the phone do not have the facility to change the card type.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
We have a business & our card machine won't accept NatWest or rbs cards.0
