  • £100 does seem a lot, but on the other hand, you can't actually get much for that nowadays. What type of shops does she like? If she is happy in Primark you could go together and get away with spending less. If she's a Topshop type of girl that'll be 1 item!

  • I was thinking it was a bit much. Luckily she is a Primark girl so I think maybe a shopping trip over Christmas instead of giving her the Monet. They way she might get a full basket and I would only have to pay around fifty quid for it. Still have a few presents to buy for so, yes much better idea thanks. I just feel a bit tight cos I've spentore in the past. I have a lot nod her stuff to sell on eBay so maybe we could come to a compromise.

Oh get me I'm out on Friday night woo hoo!!

  • Getting excited now, got a good weekend planned. Hopefully a brilliant, messy night on Friday, recover Saturday and maybe just a couple as its DD's birthday on Sunday and we are going to the pics.

Hopefully as I am going somewhere different there might be new talent although I really don't want a BF at the moment, some attention would be nice.

Hope everyone is having a good week!! Where is everyone??

    Take care.

  • Hello fellow SADs!
    How is everyone?

Im really looking forward to payday next week - il be paying off the rest of Credit Card number two as a result of some EXTREMELY careful budgeting this month (ive bought the large majority of everything for xmas, including pressies, wrapping paper, cards, tree and decorations! - ALL totally budgeted for!)

In fact, I put £20 spending money in my pocket two weeks ago for any "fun" stuff....and its still there!

So il have succeeded in paying off one debt by Christmas!

I am aiming to start the new year with only £2,500 to go until im debt free!! xx

  • Well done fd7tgu8! That's really good.

I am feeling pretty down in the dumps this weekend, have cancelled some MS and audits as I can't face going out. I know it will reduce my status with those companies, and I will lose £25 out of it but I just need to stay in and feel sorry for myself. :(

I am going to do some ebay listing this evening though, using the free-listing weekend. I also need to do some sewing later.

Hope you're all having a good weekend x

    Mystery shops?

I feel like that too. I'm SAD in three ways ... I think I have Seasonal Affective Disorder
