  • CHAMPIX from Drs is a great aid to quitting, ive packed up for 3 years after 13 years smoking, OH has now stopped for nearly 7 months after 20 years smoking.

Good thing about CHAMPIX is it does NOT contain nicoteine so the minute you stop you stop taking in the addictive part of the smoking drug.

    GOOD LUCK all!
  • So I reluctantly emerged from the safety of my cocoon, the arms of Ephesus releasing me from my slumber, stretching and yawning and ready for the day. Turning to my side I opened my eyes and found Nic-o-tine sitting staring at me - "about time you woke up" he said "let's get it on!"

Day 2 and the cravings are in full swing. I need to don my trusty armour of logic and press into the melee.

I dont need a fag. My body does not require poison to survive - quite the opposite. These pangs are the plaintive cries and desperate ploys of an addiction slowly starving to death - ignore them and they will dwindle and fade.

    Let the games commence!!!

Enough of the prosaic...hows everyone else doing today?

That's very poetic for a tuesday morning. second day, feeling ok. first week or so I'll be ok. It's further in when I've forgotten why I quit that I'm worried about.

Still..... the 3 day hump is half way through!

    I'm just about surviving.

I've been in meetings since 6am, which may be for the best! I may have to have a crafty one when I pick up one of our vans from Dagenham Motors later on, but I'm determined not to!
